im here to post again. i dun dare to call the ITE to ask them coz when i call nobody ans so dont dare to call again and the website didnt really show it.
i think going to higher nitec is better than taking Private O.
i wanna find out isit must go thru the nitec first then went on to continue Higher nitec in order to go to poly?
or theres a way to higher nitec for 2 yrs then poly right? coz i cant afford to waste anymore years by going thru 2 yrs in nitec then another 2 yrs in Higher nitec. so wana noe the diff.
for those who in ITE taking higher nitec what is the time to go to sch? its night class wif diff ages ya? and will be wearing home clothing right? its 2 yrs or 1 yr course?

To go higher nitec, you need to have reasonably good O level result. From there, you got to have GPA 3.5+ and good CCA records before heading to Poly 2nd year. Case-by-case basis.
Another way to go higher nitec is to study nitec course first.
After going through poly, can head to universities?

ok i am from nitec to higher nitec so i might be able to answer your question you can call ite number or go down ite campus nearest ask lo. me 8 in the morning the difference between nitec and higher nitec is higher nitec more recognized can go poly more easier nitec you need min 3.5 or more to go polybut for higher nitec you need like 2gpa you can study poly i think but for poly second year you need 3.5gpa at least or more. night class i not sure you can go ite.edu.sg or go call/ask ite people more better they can answer your question nitec or higher nitec no much difference just higher nitec more pay of course and can go uk or aus other country for deg if you got the money.
aim for dipolma better really.

i can answer your question i think . sure if you got 3.5 gpa + good cca achievement sure can.85% ppl from jc to uni 15% from poly but you must be top 5% from poly then can go uni?
ite just longer route. i heard people ite to phd,master or uni.

actually my problem is im turning 20 if i study in ITE plus wearing uniform with the age of 20 is abit paiseh u all understand? but i think one year very easy to pass by right? coz the course i want is 1 yr only.
plus for those in ite the pe is how many days a week? and its only 1 and a half hour right?
i dun wana go to BMC for the private O coz alot of bad reviews abt BMC. so think that Nitec i have to go thru.
nitec have to wear uniform right? unlike Higher nitec.

Yes, Nitec you've to score >3.5GPA abv but tht wont guarantee u a slot for the course u wanna pursue in poly. Higher Nitec ya need to score >3.0GPA and abv to go for business/IT related courses. 3.0gpa and below only engineering courses are available.. it works like this 2 yrs back.. depending more on the intake actually.
If you score well for H.Nitec thn u'll have no prob in going for the course u wan. Note: you must study smiliar course in h.nitec and poly else its all case by case basis..
lastly nitec and higher nitec all wear uniform fyi ;)
