    • Hmm, im wondering why dog's cannot eat chocolate?
      What's with the chocolate??

If dogs not allowed to eat chocolate.. Can other animals like rabbit , hamster eat chocolate?

Becoz, my dwarf netherland rabbit, eats chocolate, peanut butter with bread, biscuits... (Nutella Chocolate, ferroa rochers and etc... )

she (rabbit) is a vegetarian. we still feed her usual rabbit dried food though..
She's really obedient and active if she sees me . Becoz i feed her with chcocolate often.. Hmm, i wondering are there any points to take note a not..?

    • Only certain dogs cannot eat chocolate. If a dog can eat a little chocolate, means it can eat chocolate. If a dog cannot eat chocolate, even a little chip can kill it.

    • i got hear before that dogs cannot eat chocolate.
in fact, i think most, if not all, dogs cannot eat chocolate cos' it's poisonous to their body.
i think it causes very severe / fatal allergy.

and in case u folks dunno, i got see fierce rabbits before cos' i used to have 2, both whites, one male and one female.
both are very hostile and the moment you use your hand to gentle stroke their fur, they keep turning their heads to where your hand is and aim for it, trying to bite it off.
and when u try to cuddle or carry them gentle, they keep clawing at your arms non-stop.
once, they claw my wrist until blood came out.

these are the bunnies from he||.

    • You gotta respect animals too.

Rabbits that bite and claw are stressed.
Leave them alone. Let them be rabbits.
      They are not soft toys.
Just feed them and take care of them.

Ask yourself, do you like to be handled, pushed around, given food not suitable for you?
Why do you sometimes do not like your parents?
Because they impose on you, and do not allow you to be your own person.
And you become angry and act up.

      Let rabbits be rabbits

    • Dogs can eat cheapo chocolates and drink chocolate milk.
Cadbury chocolates also can eat. (from own experience)

The reason why dogs cannot eat chocolate is because of the component theobromine in chocolate. Their body system cannot metabolise it properly which leads to slower breathing and then death. I think theobromine is present in decent amount in good quality chocolates containing coacoa solids above 70%.

Cadbuy ones contain 20% cocoa solids. For a product to be classified as chocolate, it has to contain 20% minimum of the coacoa solids.

My younger sibling used to have a rabbit. Black one, grew up so fat it cannot hop anymore...just walk Shocked

      I pity that rabbit. LOL.

Theobromine accumulates in the body of dogs, thus slowly killing it. It is therefore not advisable to feed dogs with chocolate products.

Yeah, but I think puppy more active, so can metabolise quicker than older dogs. Cheapo chocolates alot of sugar, only make them hyper. But then, I only feed to my friend's dogs.

The rabbit died after around 6-7 years. I mean, how can it get fat eating lettuce/cabbage or carrots?

NO, Theobromine CANNOT BE METABOLIZED AT ALL. IT'S STUCK IN THE SYSTEM LIKE TAR IS STUCK TO YOUR LUNGS WHEN YOU SMOKE.

      CAN'T BE METABOLIZED.

    • I think moderation is the key!

The longest a dog ever lived with me was 12-13 years. With chocolate and bak gua in moderation Laughing
