Sunrise put up the official site for the novel Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, serialized monthly in Gundam Ace. The first update includes the entire prologue available online (in Japanese) in PDF format.

Gundam UC site update
The official site now has a bit on colony construction, summaries of Day Of The Unicorn 2 and 3, MS profiles of the Unicorn Gundam and ReZEL, character profiles of Takuya Irei and Mihiro Oiwakken, and a character relationship chart for Sect. 1 of UC 0096.
RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (credit to Mark Simmons @ Mecha Talk)
"A pure white MS produced by the "UC Project," part of the Federation Space Force's reorganization plan. The entire movable frame of this experimental machine forms a psyco-frame, and its responsiveness is incredibly high. It also incorporates a special "Laplace Program" OS and a system known as "NT-D." When NT-D is activated, the internal frame expands and the entire figure is transformed. In the process, the armor separates along its seams, and slides are released. A red glow can be seen where the internal frame is exposed by the gaps in the armor, and this is believed to be a psyco-frame luminescence phenomenon. The machine's performance, in particular its mobility, is dramatically increased when NT-D is active."
RGZ-95 ReZEL
"A unit from the RGZ (Refine Gundam Zeta) series developed with the intent to mass produce the Z Gundam. To dedicate a measure of success to the mass-production, 8 of them, including a commanding officer's, are deployed on the Nahal Argama. Rather than the RGZ-91 Re-GZ's variable Back Weapon System, this unit was designed to make use of a more flexible variable structure. The transformation mechanism is a simplified throwback to the MSA-005 Methuss' system. Further, costs were reduced by partly sharing an interior design with the Jegan's. The result is the first transforming MS in the GM/Jegan line."

Gundam Unicorn site update
New stuff includes summaries of Day Of The Unicorn 4 and Day Of The Unicorn 5 and MS & character profiles.
RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode):
"The Unicorn's appearance when the 'NT-D' system is activated. In this form, the psycoframe infused within the entire body's internal frame reads the pilot's thoughts (psycowaves) and directly influences the unit's movements. In other words, the MS can ultimately be controlled by thought alone.
However, when compared to one's idea of how a human body works, the stress of gravity on an 20 meter MS (more than 10 times the size) is extraordinary. Aided by the psycommu, the pilot's mind can only endure about five minutes of operation, after which a limiter is believed to activate, returning the MS to normal Unicorn form.
Furthermore, the system activates not according to the pilot's discretion, but automatically when certain conditions, as yet unexplained, are met."

undam Unicorn collected volumes, promo video
Other Gundam Ace reports say the Gundam Unicorn novel will be released in collected volumes starting September 26, with Volumes 1 and 2 both on sale the same day. A promotional video intended for shops and use in TV commercials is also coming and will be screened at Chara Hobby 2007.

Gundam Unicorn site update
The official site updated its Story section with a summary of Red Comet 1 and MS and character profiles. Along with the previously announced promo video commemorating the novel collections, a talk show with Harutoshi Fukui, Toru Furuya, and Shuuichi Ikeda will be held at Chara Hobby 2007 and "perhaps a surprise".
AMS-129 Geara Zulu:
"A mass-production model developed with Anaheim Electronics replacing the AMS-119 Geara Doga as the Neo Zeon's next main forces MS. Fashioning it in an orthodox Zeon style seems to have had symbolic meaning for the sake of boosting the organization's decling morale following the loss of their leader."
Albert:
"33-years-old. Anaheim official who boards the Nahal Argama to prevent the opening of the Laplace's Box. Displays a fixation with the Unicorn."

"Prototype MS stolen from Anaheim Electronics by Sodetsuki in UC 0094. For the NT-D experiment, a psycoframe is used in a portion of its moveable frame and the Unicorn Gundam is completed based on this unit's verified tracking improvements and strength data. It's piloted by Full Frontal."

Gundam Unicorn article
Yomiuri Online put up a short article on Gundam UC novel. The article mentions, Fukui hopes the novel will re-energize novel industry, where it has seen declining readerships from the men in 30's and 40's. Gundam UC will conclude around Spring 2009 spanning 10 volumes. New volumes will be released every 3 months.
