      Hi guys. Just wanna check something. I was driving along Commonwealth today towards Bouna Vista the main road.Then down there got traffic light that has the red light cameras,when i just passed the last white line the lights turned red, but i dont remember seeing any flash,perhaps i missed it or something.

      Lets say i kena ah,how much fine and points do i kena? Do i have to go court or something for that?

      erm...no you won't go to court unless its hit and run or damage of public property...you'll only get fined and your points demerited...in the first place...why the hell did you beat the red light? shouldn't you reflect on that instead of wondering how much you'll be fined?

      I dont think i can do anything by reflecting except hope the same thing dosent happen again.I beat it 'cos simply i going at 70 on that road and i just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.What will go wrong will go wrong.

       

      Any idea how many points will be demerited?

      Think we need to ascertain first that TS did intentionally trying to beat the reds or merely caught at the second arrow travelling at 60km/h....

      I was merely caught at the last arrow there then there was no way i cldn had breaked in time,so i just stepped on the gas.

       

      12 points? Anyone can confirm that?

      TS, 12 pts, 4 pts, does it matter? If you need someone to take the rap, knowing the pts is irrelevent.

       

      Or unless you are saying you already have 12pts year marked and cannot afford another 12?

      wont kena....red light liao still got 1-2 seconds grace period to beat the light without fine.

      last white line already...no problem la....some pple beat red light without passing first white line also wont kena. Got 1-2seconds grace period la.

      Yeah from what i heard...there should be a grace period...hmmm either way...drive carefully next time =)

      Though there are places whereby just bef e stop light is a box junction

      stop inside box junction is also wrong, ended up beat red light isn't right either

      as for fine... i din care & i dont rbr how much.... i wouldnt mind doubling the fine if they dont deduct my points. zzzz.

      This if the first time I see this about traffic violations. " i just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.What will go wrong will go wrong."

      It sure beats the "Suddenly, in front of me a tree appeared."

      TS, you were at the right place, at the right time, doing the wrong thing.

      12pts according to DIPS (can't believe i remembered that shit)

      $200 - $500 fine, depending on severity of offence. i.e any injury resulting from offence.

      For Probationary driver, good luck have fun re-taking ur license.

      For LauChau, buay hiao kin. Still got 12 more points, can run one more light.. LoLx
