      Barcelona strike terms for Man Utd's Pique

      Barcelona have struck personal terms with Manchester United defender Gerard Pique.

      El Mundo Deportivo says Barca are willing to cough up £3.75 million for the defender, who will sign a four-year deal if United accept the offer. Terms over the four-year contract have already been struck.

      The deal is expected to be rubberstamped by United immediately after the Champions League final next week.

      Bye-bye pique :( ?

      ooo..what i read is Fergie offer our $ plus Pique for Puyol.

      But like too ridiculous lol.

      3.75m only? Man utd dun need charity lah... although he dun worth much but they dun need the money anyway

      Honestly, we don't need Pique... and also he is not really that good a defender... Letting him go will open up a space for another defender at right-back spot... and Brown can be sub centre-back...

      Think we gotta lose one la..either Pique or Evans.

      Hard to keep both cause of Rio and Vidic's partnership.

      Maybe United may sell both of them... There is interest in Evans from Sunderland... and a fee of $5m has been reported already... I think its not a bad idea to cash in on them now... cos I feel they are not exactly very good defenders... Mikael Silvestre is also another one that could leave before next season start...

      And since they have Neville back, and Brown too... I am thinking Fergie may get a new right-back and have Neville, Brown and O'Shea as cover defenders and if needed, Owen can be extra cover for the right-back spot too...

      it be crazy to sell both, like that left only Brown as cover for Rio and Vidic.

      man u is actually making a profit from this sale. after all, man u actually stole pique away from barca when he was a youth. pique should go back to barca where he belongs.

      But his value will rise further. I mean Fabregas was also stolen but worth alot alot more.

      Wah a very good deal leh... I didn't expect them to be able to get confirm $4m and another $2m more in the future... Now they can use to money and go buy Aaron Ramsey...

      I guess he being Spanish helps... and just like in England, English players cost more to english clubs, in Spain, Spanish players cost more too... as Barce want more Spanish players in their squad... lol

      Good deal, Good deal... as i thought he could only go for $1 to $3m at most...
