    •

Well, maybe some don't want the parents to keep spending money on them so they go out to work themselves so they have more pocket money for shopping etcetc.

    • It's a form of exposure to the reality of society. We take for granted all the things we have when we are young and still studying; we neglect the most important part in life...and that is experience and exposure. If we keep living in the "sheltered environment" created by our parents and school, we will never come to terms and understand the society early. Therefore with that we become complacent and we fail to see that early in our lives.

Some say its better to enjoy early then suffer later...i say its the latter...

it a 100% social problem, please dun take all blame on us teenagers, parents also must play their parts, but i dun blame no one, cos the high cost and influential society created call for 2 working parents with long hours working and entertainment resulting in neglecting of family life and care for their children.

This is what we must pay for having a high cost of living society or so call from the third to the first world.

    • Money-minded. They spend what they earn. Nothing really wrong with that, except that they didn't plan for the future nia~

    • I feel that it's TOTALLY a good thing for a teenager to start work early.

I view it as 80% pros and 20% cons. Rather than working just for the money, I say the experience and exposure to the society. So yea. cons being not able to cope with studies.

Some parents forbid their children to work in the holidays i dont understand why, at all.
If i had kids, I wouldnt want my kids to study all day during the vacation. I'd get more worried if he/she behaved this way.

    • But of course, when it comes to O level year, it'd be better if he/she could stop what he/she does outside, and spend more time in studies. icon_wink.gif
