  mass comm, and major in journalism. or take an internship which will give you an introduction to the industry. try to get freelance writing assignments to boost your portfolio too.

  i think u must first study how to prevent HIV and other sex illness, cos journalist travel alot, and u know lah, guy like you may fall into sex anytime. So be careful ya, if not study so hard kenna illness and die also good for nothing.

  u can be a beat reporter. beat = area of specialisation, like sports, cars, fashion or whatever. there's this writers' club in sg, go try google it. u may be able to find out more from there.
  
  a degree in mass comm, major in journalism would help too.
