When my close female friends get their periods, they look like they got a gun shot at their abdomen or something. My other guy friends and I got to put up with some of them because of their foul mood(this includes PMS).
Just wondering what, as a guy friend, can I do for them to make them feel better, be it physically or emotionally. Food, music...etc?
Guys, any suggestions or experience? Ladies, what will you prefer ur guy friends to do?

sometimes not every girl feels pain or whatsoever when they period. if your gf happens to be those who has all these nonsense than no choice got to coax her

sometimes its not about coaxing. maybe sometimes they feel all hot inside and start to sweat and become sticky of course what you should do on your part is get inside somewhere cooler or smth. if you're stranded somewhere in the open where there's no shopping centre than make sure you have a 'mini fan' with u.

Thanks for all the replies so far

Mmmm, usually I'll just stay beside them and try to be of as much help as I can. However, being as noob as ever, I never know what I can do to help them. All I can think of is to cheer them up by cracking some jokes, which most replies have stated, makes them feel even more irritated... Perhaps my jokes are just too lame...lol? I did think of getting something for them to drink and maybe ease their 'trouble' a little, but cold drinks?? Heard from somewhere that anything cold makes it worse. Hot drinks.....I know tea is too 'liang' for them, and I don't think Kopi-C or Milo works right?
I am not trying to get close to anyone, neither do I have a gf. I'm just trying to do what a close friend should do.

don't buy drinks for them unnecessarily unless they asked for it. and since you said as a friend, just ask them if they need anything. if they do, than help them. if not, just keep quiet.
as for cramps i think the best would be find a place for her to sit down and rest and pop in some red pills. let the cramp die down and continue the outting. if she didn't bring her pill, either get a box for her or just let her sit down and rest.
never ever let a girl drink anything cold when they come period. it only makes matter worse.

For us gals, it is a natural cycle on our hormone change, whereby our unused eggs are drained out, its a kind of sad moment for us giving our eggs away to die, we feel very lonely, just like no one understand and care for us. That is the kind of feeling, and together with the pain of releasing, just like having a big painful pimple in yr face, we can easily get irritated by small issue. However, we tend to acknowledge our anger and mostly, thereafter we will apologise for the harm done to other.
You can alway consult your mother, sisters, wife or yr gf if you have further doubts.
