      Hi I have some digital photos that I'm not proud off and need to delete them permanently as soon as possible.

      Can please suggest how I may do it? Thanks.

      even if u format your com, there are ways to recover the pics....although most normal users dont know how to. as for just deleting and clearing your trash can, there are still recovery programs that can retrieve those pics. even for memory cards

      write and rewrite over the whole hard disk about 10000 times.

      Then format it another 10000 times

      actually in army i know got a way la.. in MINDEF Gombak there got a place to demagnetised all the harddisks that are condemned liao. although i dunno other than there where can we find a big magnet to demagnetised de harddisk. but means ur whole harddisk byebye liao.
