Yesterday a bunch of teens sprayed snow and ribbon spray from the top of the bridge linking Esplanade to the Merlion, onto the heads of the pedestrains who were helplessly trapped in human traffic at the bottom!

Anyway, a hint to getting your way out of the crowd fast is to join in the "Bangla Train " !
Just walk behind a line of Banglas (who are putting their hands on the front Bangla's shoulders )and they will push and shove a nice path for u !

The small little sand filled bags that go "pop!" when u throw them onto something hard?

Let's just hope that the rider involved learns his lesson and realize the importance of riding responsiby!

Anyway
44t crankset can reach 50kmh meh? Ur legs revo must have overshot
the reps possible unless ur using the XT 48T crankset.
fastest i ever did was 60kmh at downslope after dempsey rd heading to holland village.50KM/h is possible la... I was using Roadie Crankset for my Sobo in the past.. but now change to XT Drivetrain le...
Yup..it's on a flat road... I think 50km/h is nothing to those roadies!
Yeah..I've done 60km/h too...down Mt Faber!
Nearly killed myself when I couldn't brake in time for the hairpin!
missed the railing by few cm sia!

That time I went Round Island with the SengKang MTB-ers... Around the Lim Chu Kang area, we met a group of about 20 Roadies and we merged with them!
So u can imagine a bunch of 40 cyclists tearing down LCK at high speed!
I was in the middle of the bunch and was well shielded from the wind... it was no kick maintaining at 50+km/h!!!
The scary part was when we were charging down 99 bends... the G Forces at the "hairpin " corners were strong... some newbies nearly slammed into the wall!
Very fun experience though...would love to ride with them when I'm free next time!
