I'm not sure if we should solve the first question using pygathoras theorem. I learnt it only in sec 2.

Pri sch kids do learn algebra...but have they learnt changing the subject of algebric equation? If not, then no point using algebra because it will involve changing subject.

Baiyun's method will work for a pri school kid...it's shameful that I did not think of his method, lol.

but what about the second question?

Who came up with the concept of 'morality'? Was it passed down from the inventive minds of our ancestors or written down by God in the form of commandments and such?

 

If it was God who came out with 'morality', why is it that the idea of what is right and what is wrong is so inconsistent through-out the world?

 

I just thought that if doing something would send you to Hell, then surely God would send messengers to all part of the world to tell mankind what exactly is 'morality' all about...and the same message at that, clarifying all doubts about ethics.

 

But this is not so. Even within different Chirstian factions itselfs, there are disagreements, on issues such as abortion, military conscription, etc.

 

So how exactly are we going to know if our actions are right or wrong if God did not even made that clear?

There's actually two Gloucester camp at Portsdown road, one big and one very small one, and they are just one road away from each other. Don't ask me why there's two camp with the same name so close to each other, I also don't know.

Me from the small gloucester camp one, can tell you you don't even need 10 minutes to prowl the whole camp. We basically know everyone in the camp. The whole camp need only one toilet, that's how small it is.

If pes E already still cannot be storeman den do what? Become permanent 'supervising officer' meh? Or want a pes A guy to become storeman arh?

Just tell her it's not convinient to stay at your house lorh.

Lol. Reminds me of one ridiculous incident during BMT. We were having stand-to during field camp when our commanders began charging at us from outside our camp area. We thus 'shoot them'.

My buddy, having using up his blanks, used his 'universal rounds' instead. He was given 1 x extra duty for 'misfiring' because he did not look through the aiming sight before firing...

...even though our commanders are less than two metres away from us, lol.

Where and where can one watch the fireworks for the NDP rehersal for free? Preferably a less crowded place...

I find the KP105 quite lousy anyway, especially when typing SMS. Let's say I type a letter 'A' and wants to type 'B' next, on other handphones I'll just have to press '>', '2', but on KP105, the letter that comes up will be 'C' instead. The only way I can type 'B' after typing 'A' is to wait for the cursor to come out again.

As for going to a new line of text, I don't even think that's possible with this handphone in the first place, unless I've yet to find a way to do so.

But I still told my mother the phone is very good because she's the one who bought it for me for my 'good results', and I was the one who choose the phone in the first place :S

Hmm...I think nothing wrong with your teacher what. When she say 'elaborate', she really just mean elabourate lorh, just elabourate more on why you claim this or that...what's the logic and basis behind your stand, how you arrive at that particular conclusion, that simple.

It's impossible for her to write an essay in your essay telling you how you can write better for perhaps more than 40 students. What she can do, though, is explain on the common mistakes and improvements during lessons in class. Therefore, when she ask if all of you understand, just raise up your hand and say you don't understand, tell her to explain more. That's the job of the student.

As for how to get the highest marks in your essay, I think the other forumers have elabourated enough. The most important thing here is the usage of critical thinking...think further, why is this like that and why is that not like this, twist your evidence in your favour and counter some possible counter-argument back.

Memorising essay is definitely not useful, because essay questions always change. Even a one word difference can mean a whole world's difference in the way you should answer. Reading more good essays help, though...it helps you shape your ideas.
