    • Not all OPC drivers are reckless and inexperiences.I've got a full time truck driver,Aircraft Tow tug drivers who got more than 26 years of driving owning OPC cars.Even i'm also owner of a OPC car.I've seen an  OPC BMW 3 series also owned by a experience driver. My shift pattern job does not required me to drive car often.

      Example:

      AM shift

0100-1000/1030/1100/1130,Pick up by company transport near my home

0430-1230/1300/1430,Pick up by company Taxis,Go home by MRT which is less than 3 min walk to my home

      0530-1330/1430/1530/1630,Similiar like 0100 shift

      PM

1300-2130/2230/2400,Go back by either company transport or taxis

      1400-0100,Same

      1500-2100/2200/2400/0100,Same

      1900-0300,Same,Taxis if exceed 0300 hrs

If i'm working at Terminal 2 the off days will be 2 and 4 days

Terminal 3 will be 1 and 3 days.Hopes this clear

    • China cars?Only a handful with the latest Japanese engine technology can make it.Bodywerk quality sucks big time.Malaysian Proton and Peroduas are far more superior not to mention Korean cars.Trust me i have friends and cousins using Geelys,Hafeis,Chanas and so on...

I believe this theory wont work in SG where i see many cars and Taxis buly heavy vehicles. In countries like Malaysia yes heavy vehicles is the most feared on roads. Our heavy vehicles are fitted with speed limiter.I sat once on my Uncle's container truck in Johor Bahru and he just happily cruising on the extreme lane with speed of over 100 kmh(Scania Truck)with little vibration unlike our SG ones which rattle like shit

    • New generation KUBs citybuses acceleration @ mid top speed are fast than than any other 6 cylinders citybuses. But lack of top speed power though.Thats the advantage of having 5 cylinders on a 9000cc citybuses,Good for urban city like SG.

      That's what I heard.

If this really happens, wonder how those Volvo MK3s gets scattered around after redeployments takes place.

Ah how nice..Hope MKIV Striders @ DM3500s will be perm on S160 @ S170 respectively.MKIIIs should retired early.

    • if L plate is not allowed on th road i guaranteed there will be more than just an accident.Dun be too biased.IMO even if your license is 3 years doesn't make you an experience drivers believe me.My 2B is about 15 years,Class 3 7 years,Class 4 2 years,Bus Driver Vocational license(PA,PZ,CB) about 3 years and recently Taxi only 5 mths and that doesnt mean i'm a pro.
