I also came down with flat foot.
After coming back from Brunei, I developed sharp pain in the soles of my feet.
My MO explained that long hours of carrying heavy loads during outfield caused the arches in my feet to literally collapse.
I was referred to a physiotherapist, who decided that my collapsed arches were not severe enough to warrant a downgrade. However, I was given 'excused lower limb activities' for a few weeks.

*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
Just got up from a nap.
I had another strange dream..... I dreamt that I was a meteorologist who was trying to evacuate a small American town from some major natural disaster.....

I think my brain's subconscious creative centers goes into hyperdrive when I'm delirious with fever and headaches....

*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
Still wracked with headaches. Feeling feverish as well.
I didn't sleep well last night - I had a particularly vivid dream. It was kinda weird.... I dreamt that I was an investigative reporter who discovered an ang moh family living out in the woods who had been living with some sort of weird curse.
And the curse was..... having to eat fish and chips for all three meals every day for the rest of their lives.

Any ideas as to what the significance of my dream was?

I seriously feel like a 'con-man-sultant'.

It's just some low-level preliminary research which I need to do, anyway. And I don't have any major events this month (in contrast to last month).... might as well get started on something.
Just that my prof felt that I deserved a small stipend for doing all that early.

*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
Feeling feverish right now. Headaches and runny nose are not helping.
I wanted to sleep for one hour just now.... instead, I slept right through the alarm. It was only after 3 1/2 hours that I finally woke up.

Think I'll take the night off.... after all, I'm just doing some low-key 'unofficial' research for my graduate student project. The actual semester only starts next month.
My prof actually arranged for me to be 'hired' as a 'consultant' so that I can be paid a small stipend this month.

If wisdom entails going off on long convoluted tangents to somehow drag the gahmen into the mess, then I feel really, really sad for the collective intelligence of this place.
Fair enough, what Class 95 is doing is highly unethical. So let this discussion be a debate on ethical standards in the mass media in general, and Class 95 in particular. Just keep the discussion straight and objective like the adults that we all are supposed to be.
Instead I see people in here going out on a limb and turning this thread into a bash-the-gahmen session. I may disagree with the government on a lot of things, but this is taking things way too far.
In fact, I don't even know what the heck I'm still doing in here.
Pfft. I'm better off elsewhere.

At some point of time, the self-fulfilling part really got into me. Then with all the stuffs going on, sometimes when I'm alone I just seem to wander off.
Then the cure is simple..... don't think so much about it!
If you find yourself wondering about it when you're alone.... then keep yourself busy!

And there I was, thinking that it would be a straightforward discussion on the ethics of today's mass media.
Instead, they just find every damn way to politicize everything and turn it into a 'let's bash the gahmen' thread.
Sigh.... how could I be so naive?

Just when you thought that STOMP was bad enough....
Class 95 somehow just HAS to up the ante further.
I just wonder.... which fella at Class 95 came up with this 'brilliant' idea?!?!

In short.....
If I fall asleep on a crowded MRT train because I'm under the influence of flu medication, and a pregnant woman stands in front of me without my realizing it....
.....some jackass can take a video of me, upload it onto the podcast site, smear me as a 'dirty Singaporean' for pretending to fall asleep on the train.....
..... AND win $950 in the process.
Kaoz. When I think about it, even STOMP does not give cash prizes for this sort of thing.

Eva La Rue as Natalie Boa in CSI Miami
I don't like CSI: Miami.
The Chief CSI (played by David Caruso) is so damn cocky and aloof. He seems to have an annoying habit of posing under the sun with his sunglasses and his head tilted to one side.
William Petersen in the original CSI is so much better.
