I think combat ration has very little fibre in them so you don't need to pass motion so often in out field (cause very inconvenient). When out field, if only eat combat ration, I hardly pass motion (highest record is 10 days!). But after exercise, suffer from constipation for days...

So may not be very healthy to eat them too often.

I have seen plenty of "healthy" people in clerk and non-combat vocation. They look perfectly healthy and I seriously have no idea how they managed to downgrade.(don't tell me all the crap that they may be suffering from some not so visible illness, for some can run faster than anyone when playing soccer).

If you just grab her hand and shake it, then that technically CAN be outrage of modesty if she's offended by it. Just that maybe most girls wouldn't be offended at all.
And if you really want to know.... there have been cases of outrage of modesty when the guy taps a girl's shoulder. I kinda remember reading about such cases some time back. Just that the guy gets somewhat more lenient punishment, that's all.
In the end, the onus is up to the girl. It's up to whether or not she gets offended. As long as you touch without permission, then she can choose whether or not she wants to throw the book at you.
Wah! Then we should cover all women from hand-to-toe like in the middle east! And there should be separate carriage for male and female in mrt and buses.
Imagine, in a crowded bus or mrt, my elbow accidentally touches a girl elbow (just elbow only, without her permission), I can get sue and jailed for 6 months!

Yes...outrage of modesty is a compound case...How do you define "outrage of modesty"?
So next time, if I try to shake hand with a lady without her permission, I can get sue for outrage of modesty?
And what if I tap a girl shoulder? Since I didn't ask for her permission, can I get sue for outrage of modesty (since touching of any part of a female is a crime?)?

you gotta define the meaning of "touch", DUDE.
If a girl take my hand and kiss it, no matter ugly she is (unless she got AIDS or something), I will not sue her or want her to be jailed for like 6 months.
Hey, going to prison is no joke. Her future will be gone (especially in Singapore which people seldom get a 2nd chance).

oh wait... they don't.
Why do people take LKY so seriously...
Because Malaysia current PM is not Mahathir son and Mathathir has truly "retired" from politic (he don't hold any position like SM or MM anymore).

but the chance of children of well to do family, that won't have to worry about putting food on the table, or is able to concentrate more on their studies have a higher chance of doing well.
no matter how meritocratic singapore is, the odds is still better with the well to do family.
In a well to do family, the kid can get too complacent to motivate himself. Whereas, in a poorer family, the kid mature faster as he truly understand the important of education.

Anyway, the Lee and the local media has already been very successful in ruining CSJ reputation, portraying him as a madman (and I believe many brainwashed Singaporean will believe so).
So I don't think he has much chance in the next election anyway.
Therefore, I think the lawsuit will not affect CSJ much.
And it's no secret the Lee like to bankrupt their opponents, like what they did to JBJ.

Nothing at all...now when he is dead and lying cold, then they all start to pour all their crocodile tears in here.....PUI!!! SUPER PUI!!!!
How come there wasn't a JBJ topic started by any of those SINCERE rebels?
None of these rebels showed any sense of remorse and regret for not appreciating him when he were still alive.
Until that happens, these ungrateful rebels shall be entitled to have the same type of hypocrisy condolences as JBJ when they are DEAD in the future.
You should open your eyes and start to see people for who they are instead of all the wayang actions that they do to express their unsincere righteousness. It's call detecting hypocrites. Can you even detect any hypocrites in here?
No you can't, cos you're too blind.
I admit I am one of the coward who don't dare to speak out against the gov. Even sub-consciously self-censoring whatever I type now for fear that the gov maybe tracking the forum.
Which is why the more I admire JBJ for his courage and commitment to Singapore.

The rebels should all form a rebellion party called NATO.....No Action Talk Only.

If you want to go on with your endless complain against other forumers, why not start another thread? This thread is afterall, meant for condolences to JB Jeyaretnam's family, associates and friends (please read the title).
Please show a little respect for the death.

Why are you so sure that I will vote for PAP? If it is some candidate who I never heard before, I may doubt their ability. But I have admire and heard stories of him since I was a kid, so I WILL VOTE FOR HIM.

There is not much to say or comment about this, I hope AVA can perform more checks in future so there wont be similar cases or wait until a news to break out first.
Meat Pao
The fact is melamine should NEVER exist in food, which is why even AVA never thought of needing to test for it in the first place.
Although a healthy body can be able take a small amount of toxic, what if the consumer is suffering from other health problem or less healthy (like old people, small children, etc)?

Can't even find 10, how to form a 88 member team? The current opposition are either too aggressive or too quiet.
- SDP - CSJ's method too extreme for average Singaporean.
- SDA - Chiam See Tong getting old and he need a successor.
- WP - Low Thia Khiang lack the aggressive to take on PAP, and
rather take on the supporting role. Although this manage to get him
a sit in parliament, I think it's because even PAP feel he's not a
threat.
If JBJ still around, hope will be higher.

You got buy him a drink or help him to distribute his pamphlets or not?
Want to help doesn't means you have helped you know.

Talk is cheap and easy, and Singaporean "rebels" are super active in cheap and easy talks.
My GRC was a walkover. So I never get to vote (unless I move house?). But I will definitely vote for him IF I can cause I believe he will truthly represent our voice in parliament (unlike the current batch of wayang MP).
How abt you, did you vote for him then? Did you give him a hug? Did you buy drink for him? Ya, talk is cheap.

How come I don't see people like you all going up to give him a HUG when he was distributing pre-election pamphlets at MRT stations? Too smelly for you all to hug or you all too SHY to do so?
It's the ultimate insult to the deceased if the condolences are from hypocrites like you all here.
If you really respect him and want to honor him, please do so silently and solemnly.
Else, you all should go suck his cock and call him DADDY ok?
Stupid rebels.....no wonder you all are not even good enough for the political dungeons. All should half-boiled and thrown to the lions.
This generation of Singaporean Guys cum Rebels is a disgrace to the nation. So go kill yourself if you still want to talk about your pride, democracy and loyalty to your country, cos as far as I can see, you all are still not good enough to talk about those pure motives.

The best way to support him is to vote for him and his party during election. I don't think "normal" people will go around hugging people you respect, afterall, we are asian.
