I see...then I hope U have,by now, found out how to identify the primary key and foreign keys(if any)...cos if U dunno...then basically no need to do liao...

in case U dunno...the very simplified explanation is

primary key - the unique field that differentiates every record

foreign key - the primary key of another table that U want to integrate into ur table.

      thanks for your help.

I take it as U are talking about the theory practice sessions....no limit....no minimum number also....U can even go straight to take the evaluation but I wouldnt recommend it lor....The questions are not difficult...but its not a walk in the park either...generally U should be able to complete the practice papers in like....2-3 sessions....spending that time and money wouldnt kill U....after all...wat U are learning has the potential to kill...

and also, i visited bbdc website, i see sessions around, does booking of 1 session means one lesson done? so it meant that attending 2 sessions will enable me to take the basic theory test already?

Booking of 1 session is different from attending 1 session of lesson leh...

U use the system to book ur lessons...then go attend the lesson that U booked...before U attend the lesson...U need to print out a slip of paper from Level 1...turn right at the main entrance......give that slip of paper to the instructor of the lesson that U are attending...The venue of the lesson is displayed on a notice board...left from the main entrance...This way...the system can take note of ur attendance and update accordingly...note that the updating can take like 1 hour to show on the system...damn long.

U need to take 2 BTT and 2 FTT lessons...after that U can go book for ur BTT practice trials and BTT evaluation in the system...something like doing past-year papers on computer...note that U need to pass evaluation at least 14 days before ur actual BTT...if not the system will cancel it automatically.

I cant remember when U can book ur actual BTT date from the system...U will have to wait for someone else to tell U or ask the instructor when U attend ur lessons.

FTT will be something similar except that U do not need to attend any more theory lessons since U have taken all the 4 theory lessons already...just do the trials and pass the evaluation at least 14 days before ur FTT.

FTT is valid for 2 years.BTT has no expiry date.

I think that's basically about it for the theory part.

I think the point that the 1st judge was thinking was that both the uncle or auntie did not stop to help immediately...whether he came back after that was immaterial after that...cos the golden period to help the victim was over...and seriously speaking...if U hit someone on the expressway...would U go drop ur passenger before coming back for the victim?

imagine U are the victim...hurt and bleeding on the road...dying...As if the uncle who came back after his drop at the airport would be very helpful...after U died.

anyway the uncle also got 2 mths off upon appeal...maybe because the appeals judge was in a better mood and considered his "mitigating" factor...

      Very discouraging.

my experience different....called 999 for a case of 1 lady lying face-down on the road...police came quite fast but by that time...the lady...who was not very conscious(dunno drunk or disoriented)...was trying to walk up the road and the police car that came...bothered to U-turn and look for her..

maybe the case that U are trying to report was a non-emergency one bah...

Then he better pray he dun get caught or he wouldnt feel bad lor...

he hit someone...I dont think the "better than nothing" mentality should be applied here...

    • Just a piece of news in TNP that I wanted to share...

      Source: http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/news/story/0,4136,179985,00.html?

RESCUERS expected the worst. What was left of a white Toyota car was scrap metal about half a metre in height.

On Saturday morning in Shenzhen, China, a driver had lost control of a lorry carrying soil. It then flipped sideways and landed on top of the Toyota next to it.

The impact crushed the car and soil was spilled all over it.

But a touching sight greeted the rescuers after the soil was scooped away and cranes lifted the lorry.

What they saw was a woman leaning over from the driver's seat to form a protective shield over her child who was sitting in the front passenger seat.

The mother, who is in her 30s, was dead.

But the baby girl, who's about a year old, was alive.

The mother probably bore the brunt of the crash. The air trapped between her body and her baby probably also helped save the girl from suffocating beneath the spilled soil.

As a result, the girl suffered only from minor wounds on her head, reported Shenzhen's Daily Sunshine newspaper.

Soil-laden lorry flips and lands on top of Toyota next to it. Mum shields child with her body.

Cheers erupted among the rescuers as she was carried out of the wreck after the two-hour rescue operation. She was rushed to the hospital for a thorough checkup.

A woman in her 50s, who was in the back seat, also died.

A witness, known only as Mr Zhang told Daily Sunshine that it was about 10.50am. He rushed to the car after it had been crushed and shouted at its occupants.

He said he heard a female voice responding. But by the time the ambulance arrived, there was no longer any response.

The city's traffic police head, Mr Liu Fengjun, rushed to the site to direct rescue operations.

Initially, they had planned to tow the lorry away, but it was not feasible as it was too heavy. Rescue workers then thought of using cranes to lift the lorry up on both ends. But that idea was also abandoned as the bulk of the soil in the lorry may spill and bury the whole car instead.

In the end, they decided to remove the soil in the lorry first before lifting it up.

Those who had spades and hoes started digging away at the mountain of soil.

Rescuers lift lorry with crane, remove top part of car to find baby alive beneath mum's body.

Mr Liu, who did not have any tools, jumped in to help, scooping with his bare hands, while shouting, 'Keep digging!'.

After 15 minutes, rescue workers managed to scoop away most of the soil. Then the cranes were activated.

At about 12.30pm, the cranes started to lift the lorry. It took them three attempts before they were successful.

Then, as rescue workers rushed in to the trapped occupants in the car, they hit another snag - a metal beam from the lorry was in the way. The hydraulic cutter was called in to remove it. Meanwhile, a rescue worker started shouting at the car's occupants. But there was still no response.

Then, after removing the top part of the car, they were greeted by the touching sight of the mother shielding the baby.

The lorry driver, a man in his 20s, had been detained to assist in investigations.

At about 1pm, traffic on the road resumed. The baby's father rushed to the hospital at about 2pm to take her home, but was too distraught to be interviewed.

I agree with this...The point of contention is the service level.

The funny thing is this guy knows how to go take from one credit card and pay another and yet doesn't know how much interest he is being charged.  Every month just pay minimum sum.  Correct me if I am wrong, I think it is 24%.  Can someone show me the calculation so that I can pass to this moron.  It seems he also borrowed his sibling's car and has an outstanding loan of $39K - paying $800 a month - 4 more years to go. My poor colleague, got 2 young kids to feed.
      Cheers!

      yes its 24%....for now.
