yes. they did. How nice of 'em yea. And it's not a matter of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Those POs have simply nothing better to do. 'nuff said.

Or we should let her go because she is your grandmother, and it is a bother to bail her out?
The police will do their job. you think 93 year old is above the law, go change the law. if the law says 93 year old is above the law, confirm police won't touch her.
Look, murder is another thing altogether. I'm talking about A and you're talking about B. Why bring in a whole different analogy by stating one of the most heinous crime, when the little offence I've mentioned doesn't even hurt or harm anyone at all?
Of course, murder cannot be condone, regardless of the age, status and gender of the murderer. But pls, the level and seriousness of crime or offence should equate to the level of punishment being met out.
Oh yes. Nobody and definitely not me would say an elderly is above the law. Nobody is and I certainly did not imply that. Please use your goddamn brain. You're simply ridiculous. The things you said seriously sounds absurd.
Moreover, your lack of compassion speaks volume of your stinking character. (:

But to say they simply dun bother or only care to harass harmless old folks gambling at voiddecks is surely untrue, if the team I was attached with recently is anything to go by.
Anyway, public gambling is an offence in the first place. Mostly they just chase away or stop the ppl from doing so. If it ended up in arrests, then the ppl doing it probably went overboard.
at least it happened to me. don't tell me it's a one-off case. anyway, my grandma is already 93, though she's stil active.C'mon. I know it's illegal gambling. But the police could just warn them. And I don't think my grandma and her friends went overboard. Please.
Yet those motherf*cking poo-lice still arrested them, brough them to the police station. Locked 'em up with only some disgusting bread and packet drink for more than 6 hours. In the end, we had gotta forked out 5k to f*ckin bail her out. And I don't know for what f*ckin' reason.
Si mi lan jiao poo-lice?! Knn. Those serial killers, robbers, terrorists take so long to catch. These harmless old folks easy meat, moreover, those bloody police too free, so arrest them to kill time.
A bunch of imbecilic morons! Carry govt balls only luh.

pls. There are so many cases of robbery, assault, etc in which the criminals were never found & caught and escaped scot-free. Of course, the police aren't superman. Well, simply put, they don't bother.
And they only bother arresting harmless old folks who simply gambled under the void deck at the senior citizens' corner.
wtf?!

sorry not to pour cold water on TS, but rmb that M1 and Starhub could be selling them by yr-end. At that time, we could have revised pricing already.
SH and M1 would be lauching the iPhone in November. By then, there wld be intense competition and consumers should benefit from it.
Right now, Singtel is trying every ways and means to pinch every penny from those who can't wait to have the iPhone.
I would rather have a $30 plan and pay $700 for the phone than to have a $200 plan to have it for free. (same iPhone)

I've made a reservation of the iPhone with Singtel and got the password to confirm my reservation and appointment date but I've yet to confirm my appointment.
This reservation is non-transferrable. Kindly note that you won't be able to purchase the iPhone w/o contract. Also, you won't be able to purchase the iPhone without placing a reservation.
**Please be aware that the online reservation (in the singtel website) has already closed**
The point is, i've decided not to sign up with Singtel.
As such, to those who really, really, really want the iPhone badly and don't mind signing up a contract with Singtel, just that you had missed the online reservation date:
No worries. We can make an appointment to go down to Comcentre. I will sign up the line for you. The registration fee, SIM card and iPhone you pay. Then, I will ask the counter staff to do a transfer of ownership (which cost $20 - you (the transferee) will pay).
Of course, nothing is free in this world. Just a mere 50 bucks for the pre-reservation order that I indirectly pass it to you.
Interested, pls pm me. Thanks. (:
