But there are 37,502,300 Black or African American
or 12.8 % of US population!!
Race and Hispanic Origin in 2005
How one person to represent 37,502,300 Black peoples.
Obama is the 5 th Black Senate in US history since abolishing
of salvery in 1863---140 years!!
2.FYI.in the Cabinets of Singapore,there are 3 Indian races,
1 Malay,and one Indian/Chinese(father is Indian) out
of overall 20 Cabinets members.4 in 20=20%!!
I think GRC can represent miniority better!!

Given the pressure of the moment, and caught up in the feverish preparation of documentation and registration process, a newbie standing as a candidate could easily have been forgiven for this human oversight.
Unfortunately, by the cynical political standards of LKY and his slanted agenda to keep himself in political office, he will have Singaporeans think otherwise.
It is pathetic that shallow minded and gullible persons with closed minds will swallow the lie completely - hook, line and sinker.

The fact is, the Opposition parties in Singapore have not been able to engage minority races. The racial breakdown at the last election indicates that the ruling party commands the votes of the minority races. In hotly contested constituencies, it was the minority races that gave PAP the victory.
Face it: the reason the opposition gripes about the GRC is because they are not able to field highly qualified candidates of minority races that are actually electable. Scouring the sewers for low lifes the likes of Atobe to make the numbers for a GRC just won't make the cut.

Your comments show that you are clearly out-of-touch with events in Singapore.It has been a fact that the minority races have been diluted into the heartlands by the PAP implemented HDB policies in preventing concentrations of ethnic groups that will form a force that they cannot control.
Can there be any significant numbers of minority groups that can exist in the various constituencies to make any impact on the outcome of the elections - when the PAP had ensured that the minority groups are immersed into the larger 75% majority ethnic group ?
What kind of propaganda are you pretending to boast with your claim that "racial breakdown at the last election indicates that the ruling party commands the votes of the minority races" ?
Even the PAP will not even dare to put a finger in the pattern that the different HDB blocks are voting within a Constituency that the minority groups have been immersed.

Was James Gomez intending to "rule the nation", or was he merely offering himself to stand as a candidate to be elected as a Member of Parliament ?
