Ha ha I call this taking information out of Context. Mixing it into a salad bowl….. and I think it is easy to believe the conspiracy theory. Let’s connect some dots to wash away the “conspiracy” conclusion
I think you probably take the information from Clinton administration authorizing some of the covert operations to take out Osama Bin Lading, after Kenya and Tanzania Bombing. There were all kinds of plan coming out from Pentagon, CIA and other communities to take out Osama Bin Lading. Even under a UN Security Council Plan Codename “Delenda” Where Saudi to pursue Taliban to give up OBL in Afghan.
Therefore it is not surprising that “Your Insider account” about attacking afghan probably would be one of the covert plan to take out OBL that involved special forces snatching OBL. Or it could be just a deceit plan to confuse OBL. Because a WAR in Afghan would involved large scale deployment……did you saw any large military deployment to the region in the summer of 2001?

Atobe was right to point out that US has been planning to take out Al Qaeda training Camp. Prior to 9/11 the US military leader has repeatedly indicate within their leaders that they are not willing to involve any ground troops in Afghanistan.
The CIA had to find alternate ways by working in conjuction with MI6 to fund Northern Alliance against their nature enemy Taliban in return alliance with Al Qaeda. The contact was officially known as "Northern Afghanistan Liaison Team". The Northern alliance (N.A.) was a mixed of ethnic Tajiks, Uzbeck, and Hazzara. (MI6 has already been working with N.A. since 1980 during the soviet invasion)
Even after 9-11 the US still favor the plan to fund the Northern Alliance to fight a proxy war rather than fully involved. It shows that US was never really wanted a Full pledge WAR in Afghanistan to begin with.

Ethnic Tajik and Uzbe were already fighting together with the North Alliance against the Taliban. I believe they are already natural enemy of the Taliban.
Both Countries agreed to allow the US to use their Air base in exchange for trades and financial aids support etc....as a result Uzbekistan airbase was used for Joint Ops Center.

How the Taliban ruled Afghanistan was their problem. Just like the West, if their governments allow their citizens to walk naked in public or gay marriages thats their wish. Nobody should interfere with miltary actions. US should stop meddling with other countries affairs. Be even handed when dealing with world affairs. Do not flex your muscle or arm twisting tactics to get support from other countries.

US have hidden agenda as usual. For the past decade, US have invaded Afghanistan & Iraq. US talk about disarmament, etc but are they sincere? They have the largest nuclear warheads than any country. They were the first country to use nuclear bombs on Japan in 1945. They and UK helped Israel to build nuclear bombs since 1979. Israel now have more than 200 warheads. No Arab country or combined Arab countries can win any war with Israel. Now, US is barking on Iran for nuclear ambition and also on North Korea which have about 30 warheads. Making statements that both countries pose threat to world peace.

From Iran which has not even developed one nuclear bomb whereas you (Israel) has more than 200 nuclear warheads and the capability to deliver to any Arab country or combined Arab countries. Such tactic of Israel is working as US, EU etc, keep repeating Israel is under threat of its existence.

As long as Israel continues to occupy palestinian territory and oppress the palestinians and deny them their rights, there won't be peace for them.
