1 month can love liao
WOW
just take care of yourself, and please, no suicidal thoughts. imagine those people with HIV, and consider yourself lucky.
yes, no suicidal thoughts please. In fact there are alot of people out there with herpes, just that they do not know themselves that they have it. As long as a person is being sexually active, it is possible to get contracted to the virus. Though there is no cure yet, but it is not a deadly virus.
Best way to aviod getting herpes is to refrain from having sex, but we are all human ....
Take care
Originally posted by Ordinaryjaine:I was with this guy for about a month, and I really loved him, so one day we decided to have sex. There was a condom of course, but about 3 days after, my genitals started feeling sore, and I had the worst fever. I thought it was just a reaction because i didn't eat till 5pm, so I dismissed it.
The next day some blisters popped up down there and it was extremely painful when I peed. Agonizing. Everytime I want to scream, but I force myself not to. I searched online and was devastated when I read that my symptoms matches that of herpes. I confronted my then-bf, and he said that well he had sex with many other women as well, so he might have it. I immediately broke up with him. But he has left me scarred and tainted.
Not only that, this is the 5th day of my first outbreak and I feel like committing suicide. Partly because the pain is really unbearable, partly because I have compromised my health, partly because society will label me a disease-ridden dirty whore, but mostly because I have let my family down.
What should I do? I can't tell anybody, I fear they will not understand. Not many in this society does anyway.
That's happens one day when one of you decided to fuck around.
There are plenty of pills and medication for herpes, but you better pray hard that it is not HIV.
Sorry to hijack the topic. .
But I was reading one of the post, when I decided to find out what is fever blisters, which is HSV-1. And when I saw the photos, I was quite shock that I have it in the past.
And the problem is I have been having it once in a while since sec 2! How come!? And I didn't engage in any sexual activities!! OMG.

Did you ever imagined that Aliens or Ghosts might be having fun with your body while you're asleep?
Not all the time of course, just sometimes.
They might have herpes.....

I'm already freaking out. Is there any cause for concern? I already googled but I cannot understand what are they trying to say!

Maybe someone else in your family have herpes and their clothes and yours were washed and tumbled together in the same washing machine cycle?
I know washing machine doesn't wash away herpes, it only share them like love.

okay there are couple of thing. where is the fever blister located if it is on the side of your mouth could be a lack of nutrition.
You could see a GP to determined the cause.
STD does not necessary need to have sex sometime it could be a simple sharing of spoon, towel etc....

Ya. At the side. I'm waiting for the blister to come again and visit the GP. I read online that when things are normal, the GP cannot detect. I nvr do anything also will kena this. T.T
Anyway, what I'm confuse is, I donated blood before. And they always send a report a few weeks after the donation. They would have detected something wouldn't they? And also, will my blood be not suitable, but they didn't inform me =(

just follow the advice of the doctor and everything will be alright.

don't think is STD. Talk to your family GP.
identified 1 GP as your family doctor and always go to the same doctor to discuss your concern they can explain....but must find a GP willing to sit and explain.
woah dat sucks.... quickly go see a doctor la! borrow $$$! dun wait!
i kena before, but mine is the lips one so is heng a bit. mine is HSV-1. Cannot kiss for 2-3 weeks. Cannot share stuffs. I never see doctor. I buy cream and apply.
Genital 2 is HSV-2. That is more fucked up. If u dun want to see doctor, u can just google about it. A lot of info. Thats what i do for the HSV-1. But genital is more serious so better see doctor la.
Yes, it is forever. Mine is gone but it will come back one next time. The virus will be there forever. Same for genital herpes. Arapahoe got post some useful info.

I read liao scared.
Looks like it's time to stop fooling around!
omg, its so scary, even going to the gym might get infected, heaven is so unfair, people likeus who choose not to have sexual relationships partly due to std etc, will also get victimised by the lot who are irresponsible

i do want to ask you this question though ?
Do you inform your partner about it? if yes what was the general reaction are you willing to share the experience maybe for others to learn?
Scared-ed right after see-ing all those pict, HENG I STOPPED CLUBBING ALREADY ! *phew*... Brush each other in club also will kena? Last time i got this friend whom i think got herpes, cus she had ons wif my other frenz while im in the hse, i can smell the pussy smell dam smelly and after which she got tell us abt her conditions and we think it might be herpes.
Nth happened to my friend, and we didnt know it will spread through physical skin contact, and yes there's more interactions in the club, quite fortunate, nth happened... are there cases where herpes are passed over to the next victim but there are no obvious symptoms?
Genital herpes is very common and once infected, you can shed the virus and pass on the disease even when you have no symptoms. Your doctor has prescribed you acyclovir or other members of the same drug family. That will heal the blisters but will not cure it. Long term suppressive therapy (take the medicine twice a day) can prevent relapse and reduce the risk of transmission.
Guys, you won't get it from an infected person through social contact. If she has genital herpes, it is unlikely that you will get it through kissing either. It is difficult to advise what to do in our society. If a girl tells you she has herpes will you not drop her like a hot potato? If she tells you she has herpes after you get married what will you do? Stick with her but never have sex? Forget about children? Or tell her to take acyclovir all her life (will easily cost you $200 a month) and wear a condom all the time? Even so, there is always a small risk of transmission

Sure.
Initially i thought it was from her, I checked but then she doesnt have it. Till now i still duno which cb passed to me. lol. Her reaction is ok, she thinks nothin of it i think. Maybe shes not the one who kena. She still wanted to get intimate but i said lets stop for awhile cuz i dun wanna pass it to her.
Anyway to topic, for HSV-1 (cold sores), it is already irritating and pain when it starts to split. For HSV-2 (genital herp), i can imagine it's like X10 of pain.

At least you know how to kena cos you kiss so many people! But I didn't even kissed a freaking chicken!
I read through a lot of articles on the internet, but till now, they are not able to tell me how serious it is, whether is it a cause for worry, and when I don't have that blister, is there any risk of passing it to my partner when kissing.
And also there is the ethic issue, I now never kiss/ share drinks with my girl already hais. If she got it cause of me, I will feel so bloody guilty.

Have you seem a doctor yet ? Go get check up instead of worry yourself sick and depressed?
Originally posted by Arapahoe:Have you seem a doctor yet ? Go get check up instead of worry yourself sick and depressed?
I want to see a doctor. But I read online that I need to have the blister before consulting and confirming that I have. Cos if I don't have it, even through blood test or what, they will not be able to detect it. So I'm waiting for the blister to come again, and visit the doctor =X
Not sure if this is a good decision or not though ._.
