Paris & Singapore different case altogether. The whole of Europe has only one Disneyland in Europe whereas in Asia, theres HK and almost certainly Shanghai and not to mention Tokyo. And if you look further South, theres Australia.
Throw in another Singapore, how is the Singapore Disneyland going to compete with the rest ? In terms of admission fees, it will be second highest after Tokyo and maybe on par with HK. if you charge such high admission fees, you'll have to compensate in terms of attraction & "revisitability" factors. I seriously don't think Singapore disneyland, if any, will be large enough to match HK's scale. And I also don't think the local regulatory body will allow certain rides to pass, that takes out the "thrill" factor.
Currently HK disneyland is supported chiefly by Chinese tourists, who, also at the same time, shop in HK. Hence there is a overall pkg for them: Disneyland plus shopping. But when Shanghai DL goes up, they will stop going to HK.
If you look at SEA, there isn't that large market to support the Singapore disneyland. There isn't that much afflucency to support. Also, the shopping factor has diminshed over the years. The local population simply won't be sufficient. You probably visit once, twice and then ?
Moreover, don't forget, all the countries mentioned, have 4 seasons. Singapore don't. I cannot imagine walking the park in hot daylight.
I will visit probably only once (for novelty) and thats it.
