ok.. the issue as below...
last week, my NZ salesperson came to SG. he checked the files of he's cust. den realise there's 1 order, due date transferred wrongly. den i say it's ok one.. due date can change.. heng the stocks already allocated to that SO liaoz.
den he say he's main concern adn the customer's concern is not the due date. but the order itself.
the order was placed in may 07, suppose to due n shp in sept 07. but, no sotcks available. the qns is y suppliers unable to supply within that long 4 mths? and we have to transfer the order to China system... ok... the qns is: since may 07 till Jan 08, we are still unable to supply? y?
and he wanted some other ppl to chase supplier for an answer. near to a yr n they cant supply goods, we might as well change another supplier. and my office ppl dun see it this way. they keep harping on y is the due date wrong?
and the best part is, the same cust PO might have various SO. the CS who helped me to transfer, now... she followed my mistake... and guess wad? she ask me y the same cust PO, i key in wrong duedates again. i showed her the prove dat it wasn't me who did the mistake this time and i won't admit to this silly mistake. fine with me that now she is "helping" me to amend "my mistakes". but it seems like no one is chasing the suppliers as told to do so or even they are suppose to do so.
is there smtng wrong with the ppl? the company policy? or is it just me? -

staff canteen just moved a level down from my office.. walked passed the staff canteen just now.. such a strong smell of garlic!!

due date has now been changed... but 1 yr already, supplier unable to suppliy, supply planners unable to chase. spot the BIG mistake?? -
