What's the eight beatitudes about? ps the title wrong spelling.

Simple explanation:
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Poor in spirit = humble
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.Mourn = sad that the world we live in is inperfect, with sins.
Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.meek = be gentle and kind. not prone to anger
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.hunger... righteousness = seeking for justice + people who are honest
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.as aboved. Love, compassion, and forgiveness.
Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.Pure = not selfish and being selfless. It does not mean being naive.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.peacemaker = bring peace to oneself and others.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."People who are persecuted for the sake of Christianity.
Kingdom of Heaven = The place given to the people, aka chosen ones, after they die.
"Your kingdom comes, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven".
Final place of Kingdom of Heaven = Earth.

eight beatitudes is for:
1) People to know how to live their lives.
2) To comfort people that there is a good resting place for them, though they are suffering in this world for being someone like that. Note that from the eight beatitudes , one who practice that is almost guaranteed to be hard to survive , despised on and bullied in this world

errrrr.... I dunno? Used to go church but not anymore for these few years...
Take good things about religion and add it as a motto of my life.. like Buddhism: to see the world @ different level, Christianity: Love others and yourself, XXX religion: reap what you sown X3.
