Recently a friend asked me to join him in practising qigong. But I am a Christian. Is qigong considered bad in Christianity.
Sorry i dare not ask my pastor coz he already like buay song i'm not paying tithes.
If your pastor is angry that you're not paying tithes, time to move on to another Church.

if you observe carefully, anything got to do with chinese or easten culture are all considered satanic in christianity. example dragons, yoga, fengshui, lion dance, bagua etc.
赞美 allowed ler. lol
I dont think that anything that has to do with chinese or eastern culture are considered satanic.
Who says bagua is satanic ?
Who says yoga is satanic ? Maybe if u reach the epitome of yoga master in terms of meditation and able to levitate, that would be cause of alarm.
Fengshui ? It has its , but does not mean its considered totally satanic.
Lion Dance ? lol... I know you can participate in it, but just dont submit to the rituals.
Faith is not abt wat u do or not do...
neither it is a symbol or a place...

you are special lor. not all christians are like you. those that i name above are what majority chritians told me. my logic is christianity is more to western religion so anything that is alien to them is satanic.

lol!
Your reasoning in this is understandable enough due to your circumstantial exposure to them.
No la.. not all views it in that context.
i would say qi gong is fine for christians...as long as no rituals or idol wroshipping involved, any form of exercise or martial arts or even lion dance is ok. i noe christians who are involved in all these...the feedback given to me was they participate in the lion dance but not the offering of incense, praying and bowing before that...

I known christians who do yoga without mantra chanting. Purely stretching exercises with no meditation. Also gt martial arts pro. Qigong also gt ppl do.
Remember ? It is you that make the decision.
one day if u are chinese u are sons of satan

Qigong originated from china. does the writer of the bible know that china existed during that time? do they know what is qigong at that time?

the answer to this is simple really. the commandments were spelt out clearly in the bible, but it wasnt explained the reason behind it. hence you will have different kind of answers to the same questions.

What you said is true. Two people might interpret the bible differently, as they are of course being people. So who is the person that is interpreting the bible for you ? Is he really correct ? So comes to the conclusion, are you following the pastor like a god, or the god itself

one thing that set me thinking was this. why did god chose to reveal his revelations 2010 years ago and why not earlier and why not now? so that was the only time god will reveal his revelations back then 2010 years ago?

Which is why organized religions should be opposed.

got to ensure tithes are meant for church purposes and activities and not to the bank account of the pastor for him to buy house, car and condos.

There was an article about organized thought versus
individual thought, and how if you weight the evils of one against the
other individual evil amounts to thievery, assault, and other sexual
things; but in most cases the crimes committed by organized thought
creates everything from the crusades, inquisition, and genocide, plus
many more (holocaust etc). The problem always lies in the head for
organizations of any sort, they may start off with genuine intention
and a pure heart, but by making compromises to advance in the ranks,
they slowly sell off their soul, and by the time they do reach a
position where they can make a difference they have already compromised
their whole being and intentions.
The same goes for politics and in business, as well as the army, and all other religions

Yet people still allow those organizations to exist, for example the Roman Church.

Yes they cause lots of shit. like Catholic Church caused the holy crusades, the spanish inquisition, the destruction of America, as well as countless other atrocities. But at the same time people are also having war at that time. So i guess its humans/government fault
