City Harvest members Yahoo! Singapore spoke to, however, are unperturbed by the ongoing investigations.
One of them, who wanted to be known as John, “I think its normal for big organisations to be ‘audited’. We will just have to wait and see what the outcome is from all this.”
Another member from the same church who preferred to remain anonymous thought otherwise.
“I think this is just another case of ‘cry wolf’, out to stir up trouble for Pastor Kong Hee, Sun and City Harvest,” she said.
The COC and CAD have given assurances that despite the ongoing investigations, services and religious activities of City Harvest Church will continue for its congregation.

Went to Pastor Kong He’s service once, totally honest here…he really came across as someone very concerned abt his outward appearance, talking abt $$$ $$$ and more $$$.
So i left. He even talked abt the fact that women MUST keep themselves attractive…it is their “DUTY” to keep trim and fit so that their husbands will still “desire” them…and if their husbands were to stray, it’s bascically their FAULT !!!Anyway, GOD is watching us all the time right? So if you have done nothing wrong, no need to be afraid of anything or anyone right???
Good luck!Been a “member” once, no doubt their sermon is quite good but got a feeling they are quite particular about money issues….Keep asking members to give and give, pledge and pledge, trust and trust…cell groups are also quite pushy in terms of committements to churh… Makes u feel outcasted or backsliding if not on enuff.. abit like being pressure by hardselling….Sadly, left eventually as i got more and more uncomfortable going there. Understand some of my friends there left one by one also…Not sure abt their direction and purpose anymore…
Those PASTOR is good in talking money..encourging people to join as members..donate 10 percent of their salary..if you do not join them or if you do not believe in the “son of god”..then you will not go to heaven but hell..very threatening..this is how they can people to believe in them..

the troubling fact is not that CHC is being investigated, but the reaction of the members
CAD and COC have every right to investigate an organisation for crime or abuses, whatever is within their jurisdiction, and the members are implying its a goverment conspiracy
somebody please call in ISD and have these people arrested

reason is this is a mega church and the tens of thousands of members will be difficult to handle if the pastor is found guilty of any monetary abuse.
