This is my observation, not from scripture.
True christians seem to be richer (moneywise) than non-christians.
True christians die less tragic deaths than non-christians.
True christians have a more peaceful life.
I believe (not God but I) that God does bless his children materially. But remember, Jews look earthwards. Christians look heaven-wards. As a result, Chrisitians MUST consider their material blessings as a LOAN from God and GIVE to fellow brethren who are in difficult financial situations.
Christians MUST not to hoard their money. They MUST give their money towards things that extend God's kingdom.
Lastly, God can choose not to give material blessings to some Christians. These Christians who are called to evangelise in other countries are POOR and many of them are KILLED by non-christian or tribal groups.
It is these Christians who will receive a GREATER REWARD. Because what they do is gold tried by fire, they will receive many crowns from the Lord Jesus Christ.
For true christians like me, who is very often lazy to do the Lord's work, my reward will be burnt up in wood, stubble and hay. Jesus will shake his head to me in disapproval. Nevertheless, I shall enter heaven but I will not receive a crown.

Bullsh*t, not every Christians who went to evangelise in other countries are poor and can you list out the reasons why they were killed by tribal groups?

It does not matter which group is richer...... after all....every religion teaches goods Follow the right way....u will njoy richer life.
Follow the wrong way......one will start killing innocents and claim holy killing? mis-interpret as holy killing or holy war is actually by arguments yr belief or showing the other party the right way to do thing. Not harm them .....by bombing.....
Any reliigion, God forbid killing . Those who claimed thier God allow killing.... they are call murderers not God

I was referring to the 19th century revial when true believers were sent to parts of the world to proselytise. These christians were martyred for God's glory. The world is just a passing clould. Whether we live 20, 40 or 60 years is up to God. God allowed these evangelist to be killed for his glory. From the example of those martyrs, God has shown that true believers have to TAKE UP THE CROSS and follow him. Hence in this period of apostasy, they are provided as an example to us. Do you not know that God is so disgusted with professing christians in this day and age. Because we are luke warm, neither cold nor hot, and in these last days, because we are luke warm, God will spue us out of his mouth unless we repent and return to our first love.

mspbeckham, sorry to contradict u, there is only one way to the throne of God and that is Jesus Christ who is part of the Godhead. I cannot convince anyone of that. Only the Holy Spirit (who is also part of the Godhead) can convict someone. No matter what I say, if the Holy Spirit does not convict u, you will never believe wat I say.
Does this make sense to true believers out there. If u (true believers) disagree with my stance, let me know alright?
