not everyone is a christian, so why the heck are we following their calendar like 2010 or using terms like BC or AD. it is meaningless for me or anyone who is a non christian who adhere to the year 2010. I hope the world will look into the date again and come out with a date that is non religious in nature.

then use BCE (Before Common Era, which roughly corresponds to BC) and CE (Common Era, roughly corresponds to AD).
If the calendar follow prophet Mohamad birth, or the number of years since Buddha's birth, do you think other faith would like the idea? I think you know what I am getting into. I know most people wouldnt know about the significance or doesnt care about this, but a minority like me is curious and would like to know why is it so the calendar years stemmed from the birth of christ 2010 years ago or the usage of BC like 200 BC.
Serious, go to the channel in charge of it to voice it out. No worry for some Chinese who base on lunar calendar for practice.

can always give it a try, no harm.
To me , daily living is based on the calendar you talk about but the more important dates to take note for some practices are still very much base on chinese lunar calendar. kSomehow, without the chinese lunar calendar I am at a loss.
