Why is magicians like David Copperfield consider as Satanic?

  I have heard christians telling me David Copperfield worshipped Satan, because he got his powers from Satan. When I heard it, I was incredulous. does it mean all magicians and illusionists all worshipped Satan, like Liu Qian and David Blaine? where is the proof they worshipped Satan, just because Bible said so?

  It really AGAIN.. depends on the individual

  If its a conservative christian that adheres to the literal interpretations of the bible then most likely they will think so. Of course there is pros n cons in a spiritual point of view.

  Then u got the more liberal, that does no take into the literal interpretations, then again, there are the pros n cons.

  Because every and any action taken, there will be people critisizing them.

  Equally, its like saying the conservatives are being intolerents, while the liberals are not adhering to the bible teachings.

  So how ?

  Damned if we do.. damned if we dont.

  U see the problem is can both parties stand on each other's shoes to try and understand the reasoning behind it ?
