No lah. Qin is the name of the dynasty. The person who went out to sea is named Xu Fu. During the Qin dynasty, the Qin emperor fantasize alot about the other side of the sea. He always wondered what kind of places are present over there. So he ordered had a great officer by his side to go venture out to the sea. The Qin emperor is a very controlling master. And throughout his life, he always try and hope to find a elixir to achieve a undying life. But always failed.
Xu Fu venture out to the sea 1st time and came back. He manage to convince the emperor that out in the ocean there is a moutain which have rare magical herbs, and he can get a elixir if the emperor grant him another chance to venture out. He came back the 2nd time, but of course there is no elixir. He again came out with excuses and again he was granted a 3rd chance. So during the 3rd time, the officer gathered enormous amount of facilities, womens, mans, soldiers, food and etc etc... And they never came back to the palace ever again.
After many years the Qin emperor died, A.D 927. one day there is a Japanese monk named Zhong hong shun travelling pass China's Luoyang city. When asked, the monk told the new dynasty that many years ago, a officer from China resided in the now Japan. The man then created another empire. Xu Fu's another name is the famously Japan's Mikado Shen Wu. The Shen Wu Tian Wang. Founder of Japan. He made himself a emperor!!!
Till now if you go check it out, one of the founding fathers of Japan is the then Qin dynasty great official Xu Fu. Together with the locals and the China people he brought to the new land. The japanese language is formed. You can also see korean language have some similarities to chinese characters. They are of about 70% .
You can see there is a great influence of Chinese culture of Japan. The musical instruments, characters and etc etc. Xu Fu is a smart guy.
