Buddhism is not the way? ?

One Christian just told me that buddhism is not the way. He said that in my heart I know buddhism is not the way to salvation. Can some kind christians tell me why buddhism is not the way to salvation?
I was brainwashed when I was a christian that buddhism is not the way . ; ; but . . .. . .
Sorry, man, I am interested to know more about buddhism that was my reply to him.

I will if I see the need to have it in the buddhism forum. For the moment, I just want some explanation or comments from Christians why isn't buddhism the answer to salvation.

I have renounced my christian faith and am fed up that christian trying hard to get me back which I am adamant not to. Hate it when this is done to me.
Can't I practise my religious freedom???? With or without religion, I decide, I do not need any christians to come get me back to God or church.

I lastime a few months never come church they no confident scared i desert my faith call me and ring me up.
They like very scared ppl desert faith one.
They scared satan tempt me away from church and faith.

Dusty don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Christianity...my philosophy towards religions has always been simple...'if the religion makes you a better person and works for you, just follow and continue with the religion.' Regardless of religions, one need to internalize the teachings and experience them for themselves to see whether or not it really works for them, I am not a supporter of blind faith.
I was just responding to the TS thread. I studied in a Christian school previously and have quite a number of good Christian friends.

you can get the answer better at our buddism forum. here not really.
i know of a shop call john3:16. i only shop there twice because they accpet cash and credit card only payments and i am not comfortable with carrying large amounts of cash. so twice i bought cheaper stuff there and twice i got dissatisfaction. once the item was overpriced. second time they sold me defective items. its the truth although to many other people the shop is a good shop with good service and goiod items. what to say the shop should change the name to 'john3:16...to some". hehehe

Buddha said there are 33 heavens (if I remember the number correctly). Thus, many religions are the way to heaven. Buddhism is more than the way to heaven, it points a better way than heaven, to enlightenment. One will only knows when one becomes a Buddhist and experience the Buddha's Way.

Religion X says this, religion Y says that, and Z says this.
Some says all is right, but its a contradictiory statement because they definitely have contradictary teachings and concepts.
Each religion has evolved into different kinds also. Different subsets of the same religion also has some opposing stances.
Even atheism has different degrees. However atheism has the most beautiful and practical concepts. in atheism, heaven is to be lived while you are alive, not after you are gone.
So the question you need to ask is. Are you living your life now, this week, this month and future, while you are still alive?

The way? the way to where?
Christians way lead to the place where Jesus had gone to prepare for us, through Jesus.
Buddhists way lead to the paradize (��) through their own hard work(修行).
you go china embassy and ask why with america visa you cannot go to china. Come to Christian forum to ask why Buddhism is not the way, you really kia mm zai lor (行�知路).
