Did the historical Jesus really existed?

Buddha existed in India more than 2500 years ago, in doctrines and scriptures. When Buddha passed away, his bodily remains was distributed accordingly, so we know Buddha did existed. His remains is still around till this day.
What about the historical Jesus? did he ever existed? besides in scriptures, when he died, what happened to his remains?

Yes, Jesus did exist in the past. If there is no remains, it just means he took off with his body.

I thought there are many Buddhas and there must be many remains scattered all over the world.

You may have heard of Pontius Pilate, the Roman procurator who was in charge of Judea (modern day Palestine if I'm not mistaken) from 26-36 AD. It was during his watch that a certain Jesus was sentenced to death and crucified on the cross. If you look into Roman history, it will back up all these historical facts.
As for Jesus's remains, well, the fact that His remains were never found does make one reflect on the resurrection story.

resurrection is only for christians to believe, period. what I am asking is any remains to prove without a shadow of doubt. mind you, not all the people in this world are christians. -

So probably one other way to look at this is to infer the existence of Jesus during the recorded reign of Pontius Pilate (not to mention also that many ancient non-Christian writers such as Josephus and Pliny the Younger left evidence of Jesus’ existence).

yeah, my granduncle cousin twice removed was killed by the commies in china but we didnt find his bodyi am sure the same thing happened

the most famous Roman historians were around when Jesus was supposedly alive.............some even lived in Jerusalem.........

Jesus was resurrected to Heaven, so it's common sense that nobody should find any skeleton remains of Jesus.Where are the skeleton remains of Buddha? Does Buddha have bigger bones than a T-Rex since he's so big-boned in the temple?
Show us Buddha skeleton remains or else exit from this forum and go seek true Buddhist teachings in the Buddha forum.

If Christianity was 'created' by the Romans, then what happened to the Christians before 380 AD when, and only when, it was officially recognised as the official religion of the Roman empire? Do you know about the persecution of Christians before 380 AD when they were tortured, thrown to the lions in the circus, boiled alive etc? Do you know that all these were recorded in the catacombs under Rome and other places where the Christians hid from the Romans? If the Romans 'created' Christianity, then why bother hiding from them?

as for the origins of Christianity..........i read quite a bit on a number of those articles written by AngMoh researchers..................
