If a christian commits suicide

  For christians, they believe that as long as you belive in Jesus and repent, than you will be saved and will go to heaven after you die.

  They also believe that all things happen for a good purpose and it is in accordance with God's will.

  So what is the christian take on christians who commit suicide?

  These christians will still go to heaven after they die just that they will lose out on alot of rewards in heaven because they never carry out their duties on earth which is to peach the gospel to save those who do not about Jesus Christ?

  They will tell you christians committed suicide will also go to heaven. Does it make sense to you is up to you. May be people will feel better when they heard going to heaven, true or not is not important.

  they wouldn't..It's considered a terrible sin by God.Because the Christian's body is the temple of God,by destroying it by committing suicide...they wouldn't make it to heaven. It is like murdering your self which in law,it is also considered a crime.

  if your last act alive is a sin then how you repent that sin

  look it up, suicide is a mortal sin in christianity

  Are you a Christian? If not, can you tell us what will happen to you if you commit suicide in your religion?

  the bottomline is wadever the civil law considers as wrong, the bible would also consider wrong...so if suicide is viewed as a crime, then wad would the bible say?

  christianity is a religion of forgiveness, GOD so love his children (us) that GOD will forgive him/her (even if he/she is mass murderer) as long as he/she repent on his/her sins.

  if he/she is such a saint, why commit a mortal sin

   

  hate the game not the player man, i didnt make the rules, i just let you guys know when you got the rules wrong

  if you guys are really interested in christianity, go join a church to learn more instead of posting/spreading incorrect info in forums

  One of my ex-supervisor is a christian, during work, he surfed internet, disappeared sometimes, don't know go where, claimed he knewed some programs but yet when I tested him, he hardly knew how to navigate through the program, he would also make unrealistic demands which any layman knew can't be done, he would always monitor what you are doing like a pest, and will not leave you alone to do your job and still behaved like he knew it all, even when shown new stuff.

  Then on Sundays, he will go pray for forgiveness, I didn't see Jesus slapping him to wake up his idea so I think, despite all, think christians will go to heaven also. It's a win, win situation.

  we dont pray for forgiveness as we are already forgiven as long as we repent

  we give forgiveness to others who sin againts us

  repent = knowing your sins and making an effort not to commit them again

  You are the 1 who have the misconception.

  The moment you accept Jesus as your saviour and say the salvation prayer you are already forever forgiven for all your sins.

  You don't have to repent everytime you sin because sometimes when you sin you don't even know it or you know that you have sinned but forgot to repent
