not the small time pastors i'm talking about.........i'm talking about those crooks at the Vatican.........
after so many many years of collecting tithes and then running loanshark operations and re-investing in stocks, banks ,etc etc........
they now have trillions of dollars if not euros...........

Genuine believers will lead holy lives. Alot of people claimed to be christians but have an immoral livestyles may be a fake christian who profess faith.

when I am hungry, can you eat on my behalf to alleviate my hunger? similarly when I am smelly, can you shower on my behalf to make me smell good?
hmm dying for us to atone sins? that is wishful & fanciful thinking, not to say it is absurb and doesnt make any sense at all. If you are convicted of a crime and sentenced to 1 year jail, can your friends or family members jailed on your behalf?

We christians still have to obey the laws of our country. If we kill a person, we will be sentenced to death. No one including our parents can die on behalf of us.
But Jesus is the son of God, of course his death can atone for all the sins.
Normal people of course cannot atone for our sins.

just wishful thinking of christians...........got Jesus (just a fairytale, by the way....) to die for them.........so minimal effort for christians.............who don't wanna join a ''easy'' religion ?
then Pure Emptiness say no one good enough for heaven if Jesus never die for christians........
then why the FARK did God (another man-made creation) create heaven for what ???

In my humble opinion, most likely prayers do not work like what we imagine it.
However I still support prayers.
Because I think prayers is a form of deep meditation and self-reflection and self-expression.
So prayers at the very least will benefit an individual at the personal level.
For instance, it may encourage a person, it may motivate a person, it may improve one's discipline, goals and priorities, it may improve one's kindness to others, etc.
So even though I do not believe prayers work due to some miracle process, it still has value because it taps the human potential.
I personally pray every night before sleeping.

wrong, praying and meditation are different. praying is like hoping that this will work and work, but it goes against reality because it will never happen. world peace will not be achieved in this world, past, present and future. praying for a healthy body will never work, because why? how can a human being never get sick one throught his or her life.meditation is making an effort to discover your heart, an inward journey to discover yourself.

There's supernatural healing .My church do have people with cancer cured.
