Much of the Bible is written in poetic form. Many Christians have written poems to express their love and faith in Jesus Christ.
Let us share some poetry here.
Desire is a chain, shackled to the world, and it is a difficult one to
break. But once that is done, there is no more grief and no more longing;
the stream has been cut off and there are no more chains.

SONNET FOR THE SON OF GOD
Jesus, You are my Lord, God and Saviour.
To You, I am eternally grateful.
You have shown me great mercy and favour,
Despite me being stubborn as a mule.
You have called me forth in Your awesomeness.
You have beckoned me with Your still, soft voice.
And when, Your commandments, I do transgress,
You disciplined me; I left You no choice.
Of all Your blessings, I am unworthy.
Your love and pardon, I do not merit.
Yet, my inheritence You guarantee.
My falling away, You will not permit.
Lord, thank you. I'm eternally secure.
In Your arms, I will rest forevermore.
Jesus this, moses that
abraham hit me with a wifflebow bat.
