  does the pope know of the paedophilic abuse?

  Current evidence seems to suggest the current pope knew of the widespread child abuse in the catholic church but he covered it up.

  The vatican current stand is that the pope do not know . the butler who has betrayed the pope has revealed some evidence.

  if only a few victims spoke up, they will certainly be muffled. but the whole scandal is too widespread for any spin doctor to manage.

  I would like to have a discussion on the following points:

  1)the role of the catholic church in the child abuse scandal- is the church a willing participant or is the church a victim

  2) the role of the pope- a pope who is mislead or an active agent in denial of the truth

  3) the parishioners perception of the scandal

  4) steps that can be taken to protect children from future abuse

  5)degree of acceptance of homosexuality / paedophilic tendencies among catholic priest.

  nah, if they want it they would have gone to some place to get it legally. it's the extreme view of masculinity. they have the views of needing to be cold, unempathetic and dominate to get what he wants.

  in other words, the pope knows about it and...at some point he might have such experiences
