MANCHESTER UNITED want to sign Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas in a £14million summer deal.
Boss Alex Ferguson has made it clear to Casillas’ agent United are willing to offer the Spanish No 1, a weekly salary of more than £100,000 — nearly FOUR times his Bernabeu pay packet.
Casillas, 23, has been been angered by Real president Florentino Perez’s refusal to discuss a new deal. Perez said: “The end of the season will be the time to study this and other subjects. Everything will be dependent on what the results are.”
United could face competition from Liverpool as Kop boss Rafa Benitez also met CasillasÂ’ agent Gines Carvajal last week.

Probably just a gossip, Highly unlikely to happen. With 2 top goalkeepers in the LFC squad, a goalkeeper is the last position Benitez will be looking for.

I know you don't fancy roller coaster, but do you play CM? Most players are available in CM, which you can test out, you will know all the top notch players before they are been develop/spot at their later stage of the real life career. CM is Championship Manager. And that game really expands your knowledge of players in football.
There was one player, which my scout recommended and i bought him. His surname was Ebanks-Blake, played well for my team (Bolton)... and just a few days back, i saw his name in the newspaper and Man Utd have bought him.
Robbie Keane, CM players have already heard of him at Wolves long before he burst into the premiership.
I've already had Shay Given as my keeper when i bought him over when he was still a Blackburn youth player. That was before he even stepped into newcastle. -

I agree with kopi observation. It is very exciting when u purchase/ or use someone "unknown" and find it pretty good. Later u saw on newspaper/tv or news that it is actually a very good player in real life...Cool...
Poolman give CM a try and you will like it, and i have been playing CM since the first version. I have not been playing CM lately as i await for the new season version. Is it out already?
In school have tried out CM network version in school lab...maybe we can bring our PC/notebook out for an CM outing...

No la , I worked from 7.30am to 10 pm average everyday , spent about 1.5hrs with my son , and sleep . Before sleep , i spent about 1 hour on internet of football and liverpoll news .
Only weekends , i eat snake a bit , works lesser hours , with family most of the time .
CM is a good game i heard , just not one of the leisure for me i guess . -
