Early indications suggest that Sunday's newspapers will claim that Liverpool are interested in signing Manchester City striker Nicholas Anelka (£8million).
I am not sure that it is good idea to get Anelka back to Liverpool.
Considering her temporary loan and eventual transfer to Man City, I am not sure whether he have any bad feelings.
However, I am all hands for Liverpool to get a striker who have played in the EPL before.
Liverpool would need another striker who have EPL experience to stablise the strike force up front.
But, Anelka have been very quiet lately in terms of goals. -
Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Jan Koller is being linked with a move to the Premiership.
Tottenham and Liverpool are both interested in the Czech Republic international, who could be on his way from BVB in January.

Liverpool are chasing Leeds United goalkeeper Scott Carson.
Carson will be out of contract in the summer and can begin negotiating a move in the January transfer window.
The Telegraph says Leeds would prefer to sell rather than allow him to move on at the end of the season and are asking £400,000 for the England U21 international.
Liverpool want Carson as understudy to Chris Kirkland, but are likely to have competition from other Premiership sides if they try to sign the goalkeeper to a pre-contract agreement in the transfer window.

Honestly speaking guys , Gerrard is a player more difficult to replace than Mick Owen .
Even with 50 million pounds , we might not even get three of SG calibre .
Hope SG stays , and fulfil his dreams with L'pool .
What's the point of joining Chelsea , just for the sake of winning the EPL ?

If I'm Benitez , I will need Hamann , at least for a clean two more years !
Hamann is one of those more important player in LFC currently .
He is playing even better than under G.Houllier .
Diao can go and bring in another attacking midfielder , if Diao sales can fetch good money .
Biscan can be groom to replace Hamann , Biscan is in the bench due the fabulous form of Hamann . -

campo looks a bit plump. and his hair like 3 years never cut already. heehee can cushion a ball easily. but i would say he's a decent defensive midfielder but i'll prefer hamann to him.
