Liverpool to offer Dortmund £3M for Metzelder

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is preparing a bid for Borussia Dortmund defender Christoph Metzelder.
Benitez is aware of Dortmund's cash problems and has been encouraged by comments over the weekend that they will NOT sell midfielder Tomas Rosicky to Tottenham at the end of the season.
BVB still need to sell one of their big-name players to help clear big debts and Liverpool hope a bid of £3 million will be enough for the fallen Bundesliga giants to cash in on Metzelder.

Metzelder is a German International and he's a neat player. Tall and has good feet. Last seen him in Euro with his hairstyle similiar to Lehman's!
