  Poor Cisse...trying so hard to make an impact but now most likely out for the rest of the season with a broken leg.
  
  The only good thing that will come out of this injury is that in January, it is almost certain, Benitez will buy a striker.

  Its such a blow to Liverpool....
  
  I have wait so long to see him score goals for Liverpool... and he looks interesting up front but have yet to gel with Baros... imagine he and Baros speeding towards the opponent's goal... it will put fear to all defenders in the league...
  
  now... sigh.. have to wait again... for one whole season..

  I'm at a dilemma......really .
  
  I always felt that we need to groom youngster for LFC .
  
  In the other hand , we need a top-notch striker for our UCL campaign ....
  
  Unless ...... sekali got a "new Robbie Fowler" from the academy that comes in and whacked in five goals games after games .....

  Cisse is guaranteed first team.
  
  So, I agreed with Poolman that it is a good opportunity for Ah Ben to test out what the LFC Youth Academy can provide.
  
  Time for the youth to show their face instead of moving to other clubs.
  
  We are still building this season so we may discover some hidden treasures without spending BIG bucks !!!!

  I think Benitez will be the first to know if there was a promising young striker in the academy ranks.
  
  Reality is that there is'nt someone that special. A striker at least.
  
  So I won't discourage him to go out and buy a good striker.We have been in this rebuilding stage for SO long.I remember hearing this excuse since the Roy Evans era.If need be to buy good players or good success,let it be.We can't wait longer.

  Well the Reds definitely has strikers in Florent Sinama Pongolle and Neil Mellor, wat better time then now to give them an extended run in the side?
  
  Beside Luis Garcia can play in the striker's position, this will free up the midfield position to see who can make it their own from the few guys Benitez tried so far... Diao, Biscan, Warnock n Potter.

  Feel sorry for the chap...his career at Anfield hasn't exactly taken off yet n now, this horrifying injury!
  
  While we hope he recovers fully, we shd certainly be looking at a new striker to at least cover for his absence. The 2 youngsters are not ready altho for the time being, Beni may not hv much choice.
  
  Personally, I feel Garcia playing juz behind Baros may be the best option.

  I thought Liverpool got a third striker Sinama Pongolle??? Last season he play quite well Although he doesn't look quite a strong striker. Why not give him a chance???
  Watching how Cisse broke his leg is so terrible. The leg look so out of shape
