Terrible scoreline.
LFC shd have won it easily.Instead they could not take their chances. What's up with Garcia blazing over the bar with just the keeper to beat? And Hamann failing to score one on one with the keeper? And 2 chances clear off the line?
It was a very disappointing scoreline. Birmingham got lucky.
Another thing I will like to add. Why is Josemi still in the starting line up?He's terrible again. Out paced as usual. And defending clumsily like a clown.All that amateurish shoving and mis timed tackles. Josemi looks like a very below average player.Wonder why he is'nt dropped yet?

Liverpool seem to be the saviour to all crisis-hit teams like Blackburn Rovers and Brimingham.
They just did not make their chances count and did not make much good use of their chances.
The main issue here seem to be on the right.
Ah Ben have to station Finnan in front of Josemi cos Garcia is not much of a ball holder.
Finnan would be able to hold the ball better.
As for striker, Sinama did not really link up with Kewell.
They are playing for themselves instead of for each other.
Kewell was in wonderland and very rusty.
Ah Ben must have a weakness for him.
Time to rest him. -

NB!!!!! If only they hold on for 15 more minutes me jackpot liao!!!! dumped 50 bucks on 0 goals at 7.20!!!!!! Consolation is that i insured myself with another 15 bucks on 1 goal.

poor performance by liverpool. So many friking chances and they can't even put one away and i think Garcia is the main culprit. Think there is a stirker crisis at liverpool already. We need someone to bang in the goals regularly.

That 75 minutes goal means nothing to us if the scores is still tied at 0-0 . It means alot to birmingham , but not us .

This is what I'm trying to say after the UCL game against Deportivo...
this time round, Birmingham has got the favour of Lady Luck.
We can't create chances just to miss them... it will hurt us like it did.
soccer is about scoring goals... not looking fierce in attack and good performance with no goal. You can played like there's no tomorrow but if you failed to score goals... you are in trouble... all it take is for the opponent to have a moment of Lady Luck's smile....

Baros is the best we have availlabe...hopefully we can get another good striker in Jan05. At the moment, I still favour Garcia to partner Baros... altho Garcia seriously need to change his shooting boots!
The goal is result of poor defending - noone near the corner kick, nor was there anyone guarding the near post where Anderton was!?
But how the corner was conceded...no prize for guessing is Josemi! Looking poor again, he was teased n turned by Gjonkaer. Then he needlessly kick the ball out for the corner when there was another Reds helping him to round up tat B'ham player?! -
Why use zone marking instead of man marking?
thought zone marking applies more to NBA when the team dont want to play man marking as some might be eaten by Shaq
Josemi look so lousy these days... when he first joined, he still look ok. When keeping Finnan on the bench? cos he is to be sold?
We need to make our chances count.... thats the bottom line and of cos not giving away silly goals -

hamann - slightly, in a way, his attacking instincts were curbed ....... i still rem there was a match when he was with NEW, he displayed fantastic skills to dribble past a few opponents and topped it with a FABULOUS shot tt rocketed thru the net ........
berger - liked him so much ..........
fowler - utterly destroyed by GH ............
brad friedel - consisten MOM performances for rovers .........
owen - stagnated or might have even deteriorate !!!! good for him tt he left !!! -

Josemi do look bad agst quick and cunning players...hope Beni wun be 2 stubbord to stick with him. Perhaps he cld try the youngsters too - Ostemabor?! -
josemi should be benched!!! his current performances are sub standard and i think it's time for finnan to play right back.
