Liverpool midfielder Salif Diao looks set to quit Anfield following the club's decision to hand fellow midfielder Dietmar Hamann a new deal.
The Senegalese international has given himself a deadline of Christmas to gain a regular place in the side but with Hamann looking more secure and the return of the inspirational Steven Gerrard, the 27-year looks set to seek pastures new.
Although the above new is good new, I am just wondering what new pastures can Diao seek ?
S- league ??
Can he part with the BIG FAT CHEQUE from Anfield ??
It is time for him to get injured again so that he can stay longer. -

Diao can try his luck elsewhere. The EPL is not for him.Its too fast paced. Diao is slow. -
Of course when you see how Biscan played , if you're Diao , you're going tell yourself : " when will be my next chance ? "
As in Pool's pecking order , Alonso , SG , Hamann , Biscan , maybe Diarra and Cheyrou soon.....where is Diao going to have his chance ?

no other team in the premiership would want diao. He plays like crap, not influential in midfield. can't tackle, poor positioning, lousy passing. He should go! PLS GO!!!

actually i haven't been able to watch many matches ... mainly because they haven't televised many lfc games and also sometimes timing is very not right ... i can't catch it live cos it's 3am in the morning and the replay time is usually during working time ... also, epl is only on pay tv now cos they price it out of the free-to-air tv's budget ...
i think so far we've done very well ... my biggest disappointment has been kewell ... was so happy when he came but now he makes me "hairy" sometimes ... appears to have some attitude nowadays ... maybe he needs to warm the bench to wake up his ideas ... it might juz happen when stevie g comes back and nunez recovers ... i'm still waiting for the old kewell to come back ... or has he become another fowler? (never the same after the injury) -

I tink Beni has been fair to all players, including youngsters. They are given the opportunity to prove themselves. So far, Riise, Biscan and Traore hv given us something to smile abt...but the same cannot be said abt Diao!
So I'll be glad to see the last of him in the red shirt. -
I hope he goes in Jan!
But I doubt we can recoup much from his departure... -
