I would have switched off the TV during half time, if i woked up to watch the live match.
A very GOOD morale boosting win for the REDS. We should keep on the momentum and push hard over the Christmas Season.
Glad that 2 of strikers have scored. Morale boosting for them and the team as well.

yay feel so happy!!! well worth me staying up at night man! although the Referee who looks a terrorist is obvious a bit kelong, we still win haha! n the greeks all so cheat 1, waste time, dive n try to make our players get booked by the kelong kia referee... but den, we still won!!! woohoo!!!

I saw the game and I much say LFC certainly deserved the win. It was another one of those magical nights. At the KOP end, 3goals when it seemed unlikely. Stevie G absolute cracker.
I must applaud the subs Pongolle and Mellor. Im not their biggest fan to date but they were certainly the reasons why LFC are still in the UCL. Both created and scored a goal each. Kudos to Benitez for getting the tactical decisions spot on.
Now for the merseyside derby! -

with 8 minutes to go .... the lads knew that one more goal , then L'pool are thru , they kept pressing , pressing ..disallowing Olympiakos to play , kept the possessions after possessions ...kept the marking on Rivaldo , it works ...... with 22 players inside O's half , we control possession and Mellor head down to Gerrard , what a CRACKER !!!

Antonio Nunez abandoned his post shamefully and the Greeks have the away goal that means - because Monaco are leading in Spain - that Liverpool must win by at least two!
47 mins: A management masterstroke! Sinama has scored! Kewell, reliving past glories, absolutely skins Pantos down the left, and lays it across the face of the goal for Sinamo to toe-poke home! Cure delirium in the Kop! GOOOAAAALLLL!!!
78 mins: Another managerial masterstroke!! GOOOAAALLLLL! Olympiakos failed miserably to clear a free-kick .... Sinama scrapped for the ball wide to the left ... won it and dinked a fine cross to the edge of the 6-yard box where Nunez rose majestically and powered a header towards goal ... it was blocked ... but Mellor, seconds after coming on, pounced to drive it into the net acrobatically!!!!

Carragher dawdled on the right then dinked it into Mellor ... who cushioned a header backwards to about 25 yards out ... it's sits up nicely .... for Steven Gerrard to smack a shot like a supernova past the keeper and into net!!! Like to point out one player who's an idiot to me... who else but Ben's favourite Josemi...
that.. (lost of words to describe him) gave away a free kick at the dying minutes near Reds goal.... heng the free kick sucks.. straight to keeper.
ok lah.. to be fair he should stop the opponent.. but not give away unnecessary free kick mah.. if he is so 'good' as what Ben sees in him... he should not have done that.
I wonder what Ben told him at the final whistle... "good job?" -

Ah Ben did not show any emotion after the final whistle, even a club steward gave him a BEAR hug.
But, he play his game right.
Sinama have played well and matured in game.
GH have pick the right player.
Hope Le Tallac would learn his mistake and come back to win more medals.

usually from what i know...the Champions League Organisers group teams in such a way that teams from the same countries won't be up against each other unless they can both advance to the qt'r finals * above

In the next phase , when winner play r/up , before the draw is make , they make sure the club from the same country is separated ! Club from the same country cannot be group together !
That's why you soon will see something like "Pot-1" & "Pot-2" stuff ! -
