LFC Must win and I believe they will.
Milan Baros, Xabi Alonso and Finnan may just start this game after being rested.
They may be a change in Keeper as well?
Its at home, so LFC will have a better chance.
Key thing is that we have the BIG players back in the team and they will just spur LFC to win this one. -

As a fan, I feel we need this WIN badly!
I hope the players feel the same and more importantly, show them on the pitch. -
At the rate that Liverpool is going, LIVERPOOL NEED TO WIN EVERY MATCH TO STAY IN THE TOP 4.
Every match is a live & death situation for them.
The rest of the clubs are getting into the swing of things and started wacking goals match after match.
Liverpool is still with a squad with LOUSY reserves.
LIVERPOOL have not established its BEST twelve yet as Ah Ben change it all the time.
I rather Ah Ben uses the youth squad instead of the Diao or Josemi.
Give the youth players more exposure, not just only the League Cup.
Few more weeks to Jan.
I am just wondering what good players can Ah Ben bring to the squad.
Hope it is not any Spanish Players with silky legs. -
i was so glad that fulham has drawn with manchester united, that means if liverpool wins against portsmouth, we'll be within 4 points of 4th place.

anything but a win is a bad result for liverpool. after last saturday's loss, we are desparately in need of points. Furthermore next match is against newcastle. Not an easy opponent. Gogo Reds!!!!

Jerzy Dudek will be back between the sticks for Liverpool when Portsmouth visit Anfield after Chris Kirkland was ruled out with a back injury (injured again!?).
Also expected to start is Alonso in place of Diao. Frontman shd see Baros instead of Mellor with Stevie in support.
But it's crucial tat Beni starts with Finnan on the rite instead of we-noe-who!?

Read tat 1st-H was flat but in the 2nd, we were better n ought to hv made the chances count. Unfortunately, Stevie oni goal is not good enuff for the pts as we were punished in stoppage time by a weak Dudek's clearance....but I suspect poor defending too - Josemi was brought on in the 89th min *damn*
