Morientes - 29-year-old , UCL Cup Tie , rumour to prefer a switch to Monaco instead of L'pool . Less temperament . -

Anelka's link is probably deliberate and to be used as a bargaining tool.

i will get ANELKA.
he is not champions league tied. Plus he is a fan favorite. and He WANTS to play for LFC, unlike Morientes who has indicated that Anfield is not his number 1 choice.
Imagine Anelka and Cisse up front next season. throw in Baros. now thats the stuff.

More likely Anelka. I think he has mellowed quite a bit, and the pace is still there. He is familiar with the EPL, and also not CL cup-tied. Keegan is also losing patience with him, and being a former koppite, should offload him at a bargain price to Pool.
Other than that, please go get another goalie... relegate josemi to the 2nd stringers... and maybe one more central defender.. -

Buy Morientes for long term. Cos he will give us an edge in attack. Baros, Morientes and Cisse for attack looks good. Plus Sinama and Mellor is coming thru.
However, for this season, get Anelka on loan to play in the Champions League. Anelka should want it because he did say he wants to play in a team in the UCL to attract big clubs in for him. So he could be a short term solution for UCL. -
Ah Ben need to stay in top 4 spot in EPL.
This is the race that Liverpool cannot afford to lose.
Morientes can still play in League Cup and FA Cup.
Liverpool need to improve its form in EPL.
Anelka can be bought as a reserve striker and sell off for a profit later on to Real Madrid. -
Liverpool had tabled a bid for F.Morientes at 3 million pounds , but Real valued Morientes at the 7 milion pounds range .
This deal will defintely go thru' at between the range of 4.5 million pounds-5.5 million pounds , which is going to be the Catch of the Decade !

I cannot believe that they are paying a miserable sum of $3.5 million for a world class striker.
This guy can score goals in the soccer toughest game - Champion League.
What we need is GOAL, GOAL and GOAL.
Imagine if we strike gold with the B & M connection !!!!!
This guy is definitely worth more that $3.5 million.
Dun be a typical miser.

Since Mr M cannot play in Champion League, he is still need as a striker partner for Baros.
So, Moller should not be dishearted and should be happy for more rest.

Although three of his four new signings has yet shown any serious impact , but in one Alonso , this deal is the best , he has already portrait himself in that 25 million pound rated player .

seriously why is anelka so highly rated? First barcelona wants him, then liverpool also wants him. i feel he is longer what he is when he was a arsenal. He wastes a lot of chances for man city and i feel buying him wont be a good solution.
