F.Morientes is a Red !!!
Liverpool Football Club can confirm that a fee has been agreed with Real Madrid for the transfer of striker Fernando Morientes.
Personal terms must now be agreed with the player and a medical arranged before the deal is completed.
Real Madrid have also confirmed the deal and are planning to hold a press conference in Spain to announce his departure.
Liverpool remain hopeful of the deal being completed in time for Morientes to make his debut against Manchester United this weekend.

Now to me, the midfield and foward are 90% complete, n th Aimar coming to the squad, hopefully, 100% will not be a problem...and only left defence to concentrate on....hehe... -
Yah, I will not celebrate until he puts pen to paper ! He is definately an exciting signing, a better player then Owen if you ask me. Just a few more additions in this coming summer including Aimar. The squad will definately be able to challenge for the top spot.

Personally Morientes' signing is good enuf liao .
Defense wise , we had Pellegrino as back-up , so rest assure , our defense is sound .
Midfield are a formed puzzle , so no worry .
Striker crisis solved too .
Why Aimar ?
Unless Garcia and Gerrard ( touch wood ! ) is injured long term , so no need Aimar if both fit ! -
