My take is Everton.
they are a tough nut to crack with or without gravesen.
Just look at the match against boro at riverside and u shd know what i mean. -

I don't think liverpool can do it now... if before the birmingham match... i'd think different... but i can't believe we squandered our chance to close the gap on everton to 2 pts! what happened to benitez today! Liverpool played like they had no point to prove... where's the tactics man!... i didn't even see any today... liverpool were just playing like aimless fools. Ok...well liverpool's away form isn't that good.. how i wish this match was played on anfield.. liverpool always win 3-0 in anfield against blackburn/birmingham.

Chelsea have handed Liverpool a golden opportunity in beating Everton yesterday.
However, the Liverpool team squandered the precious chance.
Are they tired from the International Friendly mid-week ?
Are the tactics deployed by Ah Ben wrong ?
Are the players not hungry enough ?
Tactics:
The same tactic have been deployed by Liverpool for the last 8 games; that is to score through the central striker.
Last night's game show lack of midfield or missing midfield.
Stevie was not in the central midfield to hold and distribute the ball.
Biscan did not play well in the last two games to exercise his midfield strength.
Would Ah Ben be courageous enough to deploy his young REDs ???
Hunger:
All the top four teams show thirst and hunger in every match even in defeat.
Liverpool did not.
They are playing like they already the League Champion.
The biggest loser of yesterday match is themselves.
Verdict:
This existing team is a bunch of players with individual talent and cannot play well as a team when certain player is injured or switched-off.
As compared to their Blue neighbour who have laboured and stayed in 4th position for so long, Liverpool cannot mount a serious challenge in overtaking the 4th position unless Everton throw in the remaining games and Liverpool can actually win all the remaining games.
It is impossible for Liverpool to win all the remaining matches as they have CL matches to focus also.
So, maybe it is time for Liverpool to stay in the 5th placing and take more time to re-build the exiting team.
If this means that Stevie is leaving Liverpool like Mickey Mouse, so be it.
I want a Liverpool Football Club to play like a team first now, the rest is not longer important.
Let there be more hunger and desire from the REDs player !!!!!
What Jose have done on the Chelsea team is not miracle, it is pure hard work, belief and fighting spirit.
That is what I respect Jose for. -
