They are both HOPELESS.

Well , we had a miserable game last night !
Can't string some decent passes together , can't contained Man-Of-The-Match Heskey , can't control the midfield , can't break their defense , can't....just can't do anything to make a comeback .
Wondering here , is this what Benitez told the guys last night : " Okay guys , Everton just lost at home , we need not win this game , it's okay to lose , so just play 90 minutes and go pack our bags home ! "

It's always difficult to play away to a relegation threatened team .
Their desire and spirit is just a class above us , so let's not mourn this lost ,

I dun share his optimism.
If Liverpool cannot muster any spirit to fight Brimingham last night, it does not matter who they play against with in the remaining 11 games.
They are relying too much on Stevie.
Even West Brom can beat them.
It is not a matter whether the opponent is strong or weak.
At this moment, with same tactic deployed in every match, any team can hold up Liverpool by housing 3 defenders in front of goal as Liverpool is a wingless bird.
With the recognition of the injury crisis, Ah Ben basically does not have any creative midfielders to resolve his problems.
My hand would be tied like Ah Ben if I am request to resolve the existing issue.
My only option is to try out the youngsters in the Liverpool squad in midfield.
Maybe the senior players have been playing too much or they are already planning their spanish retreat for their coming season.
I recognise the fact that Ah Ben have already done his best with his available resources.
His players have let him and the loyal Liverpool fans over the world down. -
By the way , to get fourth , we need to master all our Home games , which has a game more than Everton's !
And looking at Everton's away games fixtures , compare to our own away fixtures , you can actually sense that Everton are sure to drop some points , and say they win all their home and lost all away , and we won all home and lost all away , it's just a two points gap .
And it'll not be the case , I don't think Everton can win all their remaining home games .
Again , it's up to us .
Rumour that Alonso will be back around March ...... which means good news , really good news . March means Alonso can be with us for at least 8 games , that crucial last eight games !
I would be glad to be in this position now , to chase after Everton than letting them pressuring us at this stage !

I really hope this match serves as a BIG wakup call to all the Reds' players.
In a way we are lucky tat we're still in the running n tat the chasing packs aren't tat consistent too. Maybe we are blessed afterall.... shall see; but all depends on the final run-in.
Surely we aren't tat bad a team...n if the players do their part, I'm pretty sure we can make it! *fingers crossed*
