Any idea who will be playing in their position ? Biscan seemed a certain replacement , follow by ...... ????? Hamann ?? Two defensive midfielders ? -
seems like liverpool is at quite a unfavourable position at this stage.. oh hell...lets just hope something good comes out of kewell & the youngsters...also hope that the defenders don't sleep on the job & also for dudek to be at his peak ^___^

Liverpool and Chelsea have League Cup to play on Sunday.
Given the limited options that Ah Ben have, I dunno what players he can pick for Wed Morning Game.
Hope they can hold for a draw and play for the Cup on Sunday.
Chelsea is weakened with the injury to the key players and if they suffered further casualties on CL game, the chances of Liverpool lifting the League Cup again is HIGH !!!! -

Let's focus on the UCL , Carling Cup is least important at this stage !
Maybe Hamann will anchor the defensive role , follow by Igor Biscan spreading the ball across the pitch , providing the ball to the width to Riise , Garcia with Kewell and Baros in attack !
Mellor will standby for Kewell in the second half !
Nunuez and Warnock will be on standby for the wing role . Le Tellac on bench for Baros !
Surprising line-up will see Carson in goal for L'pool . -

There was a delayed telecast at 6am (n later 1am) - surely Poolman wld've watched it.
Good win (3:1) to bring forward to Germany. Interestingly, it's achieved w/out our Stevie.
Anyway, we are now fav to go thru...well done Reds!!!

If the same team that play against Brimingham City can beat Bayern Leverkusen, I am beginning to doubt the commitment of the players.
Managed to catch a glimpse of the game.
The team is actually playing well and more goals can be scored if not for the poor link up between the strikers.
Now, Liverpool have done a good job.
Hope they can extend to the Cup Match on Sunday and BEAT Chelsea. -

Benitez did the right thing last week , he bombarded the player's commitment publicly and was well-rewarded by these 5-Star performance !
It could be easily 4-1 , if not for Baros' missed opportunities !
Who needs Gerrard when we have Biscan ?
Riise was the hungriest man on the pitch , he was Bayern's most hated man , he was their thorn in the a*s !

This match proves that Liverpool can still win games without Steven Gerrard.
If Steven Gerrard is not committed to Liverpool, he can walk off. Let Benitez have the transfer money to buy good players. I'm already have doubt on Steven Gerrard and i dun really mind him leaving Liverpool. -

very inspiring win. unfortunately marred by the late goal keeping blunder by dudek.
hopefully the 2 goal cushion will be enough for the 2nd leg.
important thing is to get the crucial away goal in the 2nd leg.
