i'll say 1-0 to us !!! Gerrard & Co. seems to love rubbing shoulders only with the big teams...
anyway, win or lose, if we can finish 4th in the league, and being the League Cup runners-up and CL Quarter Finalist (thats if we lose), i'll deem it as a very good start for RB

A lot of talent in the Juve team. Buffon, Thuram, Nedved, Del Piero, Trezeguet, Ibrahimovich.
Against a wounded LFC team.
Liverpool need to keep it tight at the back. They must try not to concede the away goal. One thing good about playing the italians is that they will play a slow game. This will give LFC players more room to express themselves as the italians sit back and absorb the pressure.
Hyppia will be back and so will Milan Baros. I do hope to see Smicer play the support role behind Baros, instead of Gerrard. I think Gerrard performs better spreading passes from the back and coming from deep. Garcia should take the right side of midfield.
After the disappointing sending off against Everton, I feel Baros has a lot to prove. The best way will be to grab the winning goal in front of the fanatic Kop.
1-0 Liverpool win, Baros winner?

First Half Manager - Ah Ben
Second Half Manager - GH
Just as the ESPN commentators have stated, Liverpool can play complete different soccer for CL and EPL.
This was shown in the 1st and 2nd Half.
Not sure whether it was Ah Ben's tactics to sit back during the second half.
No one was really going forward to attack.
Hyypia was so fustrated that he led a one man attack force during the final 10 minutes.
Steve was sleeping during the 2nd half and no one was connecting the midfield to the strikers.
As for a Liverpool fan, I am very worried that Liverpool have lost a precious chance to kill off Juve at ANFIELD.
Now, they have to face the wrath of Juve next week.
Juve was on off day last night and that is not often. -
The Reds did us proud again....ya, we seem to play better agst the big boys! So does it mean we've got a chance to WIN it!?
I'm oni glad we did ourselves proud at this stage of competition....wat-ever happens nxt week is secondary!

Luis Garcia.......did nothing right the whole match except that wonder goal !
He seemed to have that bad habit of losing possession .
Oh yes , Juva need just a goal to kill us off in Turn , but it also take a goal for us in Turin to kill them off .
I think Benitez will get Alonso for this in-coming second leg ! Maybe Cisse too.....
I also think Juventus will not get any goal at Del Alpi Stadium ! Our defense are just too good for them .

I though Garcia was BRILLIANT throughout the game. His vision and creativity caused a lot of problems to the Juventus defence. It was only in the 2nd half when Capello brought on Persotto in a tactical change that Liverpool had trouble going forward.
I thought Baros was disappointing. Le Tallec had a fine game. I will love to see Alonso back alongside Gerrard for the 2nd leg. It will be too soon for Cisse though.
Pity that Carson had to make the mistake. But he did pull off a super save in the 1st half. It will tight in the 2nd leg, but if LFC play the way the did in the 1st half, there is no doubt that they can sneak a goal themselves. -
