everton has the tougher fixtures ... have to face man u, arsenal, newcastle, as well as clubs desperate to save themselves from the drop, crystal palace and fulham..
but doesnt mean we're in a better position though.. we've always let ourselves down against so-called weaker oppositions. the toughest will have to be the away trip to Arsenal
but given our experience (we've always performed credibly well with odds stacked against us), i think we'll pull through

On paper, we've already won the race.
But sadly, we tend to slacken agst easier opponents tis season. So unless tis can be overcome, we're in for some heart-stopping race!
Nxt 3 matches shd see us overtaking the Blues as they are expected to drop pts; so it's all up to us....let's do it, Reds!!! -

We'll play according to which team Everton is playing , eg , If Everton are playing Arsenal , we can play a more relax game , knowing Arsenal will not throw the game away .
If Everton are playing MU , we can also presume MU will win , so , just play and not losing , earn point by point , eventually ......we'll get there ! -

So, expect nothing from the remaining matches.
Just watch with a pinch of salt.
The only good news is that we may be able to see cisse and alonso in action for the last few games.
I just pray the Reds to buck up.

Injury has been the main problem for Liverpool this season. Tell me, when was the last time you saw the ideal First 11 start a game together? I can't remember?
How many times have you seen a club lose so many key players in a season?
This Liverpool is not far away from challenging the likes of Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal. It just needs to stay healthy. You need a helathy crop of players before you try to attempt to achieve any sort of consistency.
Stay healthy and they will be a force. Alonso, Gerrard, Garcia, Risse, Morientes, Cisse in the same team. They are no slouches. But when was the last time you saw this bunch of players playing together? None! -
I'm not totally dishearten !
In fact , I'm happy , very happy .
Happy in a way , with so many key players out for a long time this season , we actually achieve so much more than last season , when we have almost full team + Michael Owen !
A refreshment , we make it into the Carling Cup Final , we're almost cruising into the UCL Semi , and we are not out of the fourth , in fact , we're in control over Everton's fate !

Give me a Half-Fit Alonso for Half-Hearted Gerrard any time.
Just feel that no matter how hard Gerrard is trying to prove that he is staying at Liverpool, his performance is always the other way.
Liverpool is still too dependent on him to score goal, just like dependence on Mickey Mouse.
So, Stevie have to GO.
Sad to say, Biscan did not take this opportunity to take command of the midfield.
I would agreed fully for a Gerrard & Alonso combination to be the strongest in the EPL.
But, I dun think that would happen in the next season.
Now, I just pray hard for them to qualify to the next round of CL.
Chelsea is DEAD MEAT. -

It will be a major step backwards if Steven Gerrard leaves Anfield.
Gerrard has carried the team through on more occasions this season than any other player. He may not have been consistent throughout, but not many other players have been.Perhaps only Carragher has been more consistent this season.
Stevie G does'nt have to prove anything to the fans of his desire to stay. He just wants to win medals. Thats every professional's goal. Let's face it, if he can't win it at his beloved LFC, he's gotta look elsewhere.
The club is rebuilding. And it needs all the quality it has now to stay. Losing an instrumental player and skipper will deal more damage than good to the club's rebuilding process. -

Stevie Gee has indicate , not once , but various times , he's 100% commited to Liverpool FC !
I take his word , at least for the very last time .
Anyway , If I'm SG , and base on what I saw Mourinho's attitude towards the English games and UCL , and his arrogance with the ref , i need to think thrice to whether to join him as a good option .
To join Chelsea no doubt is a salary boost to all players , but obviously it will tarnish SG's image as England's favourite midfield maestro !
And looking at the progress of LFC , SG will be stupid to leave Anfield .

ah ben has done exceptionally well ... he will continue to improve the team and bring in new players ... and the best thing is he doesn't give excuses ... if all these things can't convince stevie g to stay, i dunno what will ... -
