I think he is more worried about his chances of playing for England than for any club.
If he is the benchboy for RM, then very hard for Sven to select him.
Since Liverpool is started to show signs of winning and RM is going downhill, why not jump ship at this instant ???
That is why he is dropping hint to Ah Ben to get him back.
Ah Ben dun seem to be interested in getting him back.
He knows that it will seriously affect the moracle of the present team if he falls into the trap of media in accepting the traitor.
Ah Ben is smart in handling the media frenzy.
Personally, I dun want Owen to be back.
The contract for his loyalty have already expired.
Liverpool does not need a traitor. -
There's a clause in Michael Owen's Real contract , if he is to leave Real , Liverpool will have the first option to take him back .
And i think Rick parry is the one to decide , he will obviously taking a close look at Owen's situation . And looking at Parry's style of working , he'll consult Benitez first and Gerrard's opinion ....... look like Benitez isn't interested , but who knows ?
In footballing terms , getting Owen back for the new season isn't a good option .
We have built a team without Owen , now Owen is coming back , we need to start from scratch again..... unless Owen warm the bench at Anfield .
Dunno if the Liverpool's fans in England welcome Owen back at L'pool ? -
newcastle needs a replacement for shearer and owen is the best choice!!

Anyways,sven won't drop owen just because he's on the bench for RM because sven likes to play safe jajaj... and owen is still scoring.
